At some point the rich will get tired of losing money due to the closures of the economy. I mean I truly hate people are getting complications from the virus, but odds are the same people would get complications from any number of other colds and flus.

We don't have a vaccine because this is the first time this virus has been present in humans at a large scale. During the SARS outbreak of the early 2000s, scientists had a number of potential vaccines in the development pipeline, but abandoned these candidates when that virus inexplicably vanished from humans. There is no reason or incentive to develop a vaccine against a virus that is no longer present in humans. The reason why we don't have a vaccine for the current outbreak is because it takes time to develop these vaccines and to ensure their safety.

This hoax virus has a mortality rate of essentially zero. The WHO had made it clear that people without symptoms can't spread it. This nonsense thread needs to be deleted.

It's all well and good to disagree with positions on or responses to the virus. But don't spout nonsense. Over 100k have died from this thing in this country alone.

By the actual virus? Honestly can't answer that because if its been here since last fall ad many claim then there's no true way of knowing. If I really had to guess between 60-80K. I don't think the virus is a hoax, I think its very real and I don't blame leadership for locking down at first while we figured things out. However the more we learn the more we're figuring out that maybe its not as bad as originally thought.
