I remember when they had to stop Jamal Lewis and one defender -- I think Al Wilson -- in their benching duel, and they were right up there around 500 as best as I can recall.

Edit: Found previous thread about this, they stopped them at 460.

Back in the day we had two offensive guards benching around 600.Vladimir Richard and Jacques Mcclendon

I agree but will take a few years to build that. We honestly don't need it though with the way this offense scores points.

The quicker fix is gonna be what I suggested.

Moten and/or a high school LB could fill 1 or 2 of those. But my hope is that we can get 7 (if that is the number) quality portal guys who are plug and play at positions of need.

Maybe just a hat on the table. This is a big need. LSU and FSU usually have a lot of DL talent. Doors are wide open for his skillset at UT at the moment.

Judging off his past comments you’d believe a decision could come next week. I’d imagine it’s down to UT and FSU, he doesn’t seem to be the type of guy to make a decision like this without physically visiting a school (LSU). I know he said he’d “visit” schools virtually but there’s no way you can get a feel for a school that way.
