ALCS Yankees vs Rangers

So this is now set up for Andy to go against Cliff in game 7, provided that the Rangers dont go with Cliff on Friday.

Risk/Reward to consider here.

I would love for Cliff to go Friday. Doubt Washington does that, though.

The only thing I can veiw as a positive in facing Lee early would be he'd have the weight of the State on his shoulders and he may press more. That's still iffy considering his continued success against them.

Quick question about last night, I got home in time to see Jeter get that blooper hit down the third base line for an infield hit. His first of the game I believe. Anyhow, he had some type of interaction with a fan or someone upon arriving at first and had a big grin and was laughing. I presume about the play itself, but he continued to laugh and they showed Elvis chuckling too. Anyone know what was said or what that was about?

and he wouldn't in a game 7 situation?

about the Jeter thing.....I'm guessing it was probably along the lines of the Major League quote, "You really knocked the crap out of that one!" Who knows really. I'm guessing it was just the type of hit that people chuckle at. I know I usually do if I get away with one like that.

I'm not saying he wouldn't feel the same in game 7, but he is scheduled for that one. IF Washington was to bring him out there on Friday, to me it says, "You're the guy to finish it and I want it done tonight."

I don't know, I just wish he was in a different dug-out.

huh? Lee or Jeter?

I'm pretty sure it has already been decided that Colby Lewis is pitching tomorrow night.

If he were to lose friday, then there would be immense pressure in the Ranger clubhouse. With Colby starting game 6, even if they lose the feeling is "we have the most clutch pitcher in baseball going tomorrow."

Need to change the signs with a runner on second. Andrus was tipping pitches.

I really like our approach of wearing down Lewis and taking a lot of pitches.

Oh, wait.

This is a freaking joke of a performance by the Yankees. We're lucky Hughes has dodged so many bullets.

Missed the call that dude is calling for the umpire's job.

What are you drinking tonight? :p

No hard feelings. I just don't understand your post. Maybe it's me that's drunk.

Yeah I'm following on gamecast, what was the call?

And I'm liking that IBB to Hamilton.

Way to hang yet another breaking ball Hughes. Use this offseason to learn the ability to throw a ball below the belt.

The Yankees had a man on 3rd. A pitch hit A-Rod in the ankle and went behind the catcher. Instead of putting A-Rod on first, he called it a ball(wild pitch) and allowed the Yankees to score a run. It was a pretty horrible call and one that was blatantly obvious.

Edit: A-Rod scored. I'm not sure who the batter was.
