well I was going to ask if "low information voter" is a personal attack and/or name calling to see if that's against the board rules you are so high on but decided to just continue pointing out that you are a closet democrat

Not confusing them at all, but they do run close parallels. Some programs considered “socialist” in nature I’m okay with (i.e. SS, Medicare). So I’m not calling for an end to all, just some. As we’ve moved further left/socialist we look more and more like those at full tilt - uncontrolled debts/deficits, etc - because it never works in the long run - promising what cannot be delivered by politicians only trying to get re-elected. Conversely, you tell me what liberties aren’t threatened by socialism? When you focus solely on the collective, you end up whittling away at the individual. The examples are endless.

No sir, not at all. They’re too weak to do what’s necessary to fix it. They too, many anyway, are mostly concerned with getting elected. There’s no political will because they (politicians) in a very socialist manner, have conditioned the populace that they should never be inconvenienced. A program for everything and ever expanding.
