So here is the income distribution for both individuals and households from the 2014 US Census. Am i correctly interpreting that you would levy steep taxes (over 30% net say) in that top bracket and redistribute that wealth? She's doing it to herself. Pelosi can't stand her. She makes the most extreme Democrat look sane. As for her huge following on social media it's no different than Taylor swift, it's a bunch of kids that don't know their azz from a hole in the ground like this kid showing up out of nowhere today.

No more looney than Maxine Waters or Bernie Sanders or even Sheila Jackson Lee... so, what is different about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? She is young, charismatic and in the eyes of some - attractive. This obsession with her comes from resentment... not policy.

You have hardly even close to the life experience, not even close. You know nothing about life. You have lived in a nice bubble provided by your parents and academia.

Ayn Rand had many ideas and like everyone, not all of them are good nor am I espousing them. But she also had more life experience then you and was far more intelligent. And probably accomplished more in her life then you will in yours based upon the beliefs your are currently following. But times change, people change and you probably will too. Someday you may even realize just how dumb your ideas are now.
But maybe not.

Just because you are young, don't think that it is written in stone that you will live for another 30 years. If you live your life believing that, I am sorry for you, because in the end you will realize that you haven't lived at all.

I didn't say she was a victim, did I? She chose this career and from everything I have seen... she loves every minute of it. I'm saying that the right has chosen to focus on her for things which have nothing to do with policy. The right is resentful of who she is.
