I didn't say he wasn't talented. You talked about how his injury was "so serious he missed some games". I don't buy it, just from judging the persona Bryce gives off, he was not wanting to risk anything serious with the starting job basically guaranteed to him this coming year no matter what had the last staff been here.

+1,000...Bryce Brown is going to be a great college running back. He was damn good for a true freshman last year.
I know what I seen. Bryce running in the backs of his OL, not seeing the open lanes, & not being hard to tackle. I also didn't see the BREAK AWAY speed, I seen on his film.(I understand he was dealing with some sort of injury) All expected as being a freshman RB. On the other hand, when he got near the goal line, he ran harder & was tough to bring down. He has great hands out of the back field as a receiving threat. I don't think anyone is knocking his talent capability or potential. I just think Poole would of out performed him last year if given the opportunity. Poole plays with a HUGE chip on his shoulder & has a toughness bout him that you can't teach. I definetely think BB would be #2 in the rotation this year if he stayed. I'm not a BB hater at all, I'm just calling a spade a spade like I see it. I would love for BB to be a part of our program, but I don't see how everyone thinks he conquered the universe last year.Yeah, I just don't get it. Some must have been watching a different running back than I was. Brown showed a TON of ability last year. If he continues to improve, he'll be a very solid back.
