Bead head pheasant tail prince nymph. 4wt rod and had been catching the smallest rainbows you’ve ever seen. Had 8# tippet because that’s what I had with me and was too lazy to go out and get something else. Honestly just killing time when a monster hit it. My dumbass pulled hard (“don’t let him off!!! Don’t let him off!!!!”) and snap. The worst was 2 seconds after the break it spit the hook.

Had a good time this morning catching jacks in the NE Florida marshes on the fly! They pull like freight trains.

Got into some Jack Crevalle (hence the name) under the South Bridge NSB back in 2009-10. 25 lb class. Bite was on > 5 ft of water.

My forearms were done.
