Anyone here still in NCMI....

@Carp

I jumped out last week for a 5% loss when it spiked up. Obviously that ended up a mistake looking back. However, I rolled that money into DKNG which more than made up for my marginal loss here. I will jump back into NCMI at some point, but I'm going to wait for this crazy market to adjust itself. Still a little worried about possible shutdowns and that would send NCMI back to the low $2 range.

I sold today. Sold half last week and remainder today.

Sold SKT as well today @TheColdVolTruth

There will be room for all of the vaccine developers to have a piece. The question is how to figure out a realistic value after the dust settles and how high the peaks will be. I’m comfortable owning the syringe maker and diversified Pharma beyond COVID . But there will be bag holders on these smaller developers.

I like the way you think

I’m thinking about nibbling on SNOW. Berkshire is in although it’s a small position for them. Small bite though... it trades at 100x or more revenue.

Edit: Up over 4% this morning. Putting a buy on pause at the moment.

Jumped in on GWSO & NXTD...long holding these. Kinda new to individual stock game, been mostly an index investor.

We shall see...

The most interesting position to me is Berkshire buying into the old Restoration Hardware (RH). Snowflake being pre-IPO doesn’t surprise me. Taking some profits in AAPL doesn’t either. Buying Kroger (KR) is interesting. Ditching Costco (COST) is a bit surprising as well.

KR has one of the best grocery pickup apps/execution of any store I've used. Perhaps expects with lockdown more people will take advantage of that?

Have they bought any since the ipo? Berkshire got in pre-ipo. I don't know if they bought any after it went public.

Apparently WB has been buying KR for nearly a year. COVID likely heavily influenced BK investing close to a billion dollars. Plus the P/E of 10x and a yield over 2%.

I read that Buffett probably simply let one of the 2 lieutenants buy in. One of the same guys that invested in AMZN. It’s a small piece of their total holdings. Buffett doesn’t do IPOs.

Kinda wondering if I'm buying/moving too quickly.

I got in with PLUG at less than 19 a share....granted I didn't have a ton of shares but it's not been below 20 since.

Anyone got some good research sites/material they'd recommend?

I've got a buy order on SPWH @ $14.00 that I put in this morning. Hoping it fills at some point today. Double bottom has formed and they have earnings in a couple weeks. And obviously Christmas is coming up. Looking for at least $17 on this.

Debating on selling my $TME. I'm up 13% currently, but their ER was absolutely fantastic with over 1 billion in revenue and adding 47% more paid subscribers from the same point a year ago. I really feel like this is going to keep climbing, but I hate to lose gains.

Also, I'm still riding DKNG. In @ $40 so I'm up 20% right now. Gonna see if it can knock on $60 again. This is my largest play at the moment.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t bought shares of anything in a few weeks. The calls/puts have gotten my attention. But I lost big time on Sq and Baba calls. Lesson learned
