Well I got smoked for a $4,000 loss on Tsla Calls on Wednesday. Got stopped out. Had I held til yesterday, that would have turned into about a $20,000 gain 🥴. The good news is, I made the $4,000 back today on Tsla Calls. I then lost $1,000 on Baba Calls 🥴.

A play for next week....I think Tsla probably goes up again and tests $700 if you wanna play some options. I’ve got some lottery $700 calls for 12/31. $1,000 gamble.

As far as stocks to hold, I’ve got 3,000 shares of POWW and that’s currently the only shares I’ve got. Everything else is cash or calls/puts.

INTC, MRK and JPM are three that I like long term.
Thanks. I’d been eyeing Intel recently. I like banks and I know JPM is considered the gold standard by many. I also like BAC. I haven’t looked at MRK in a while. I’ll check it out. I’ve bought some Pfizer this year, though, and had been considering adding to it with the recent dip.

I like the ETF providers. I own 3 of the big 5. Vanguard is a mutual company. I might buy Invesco (IVZ) to round out owning the rest (BlackRock (BLK), State Street (STT), and Schwab (SCHW)).

I also would like to buy a good small cap ETF to hold at least through the COVID recovery. I also wanted to buy a Denmark ETF, but I didn’t find one that has much trading volume.

I've owned PFE for some time. I think BAC is a solid company just dont own it

Ok so I am not a smart man on calls/puts. How much have you allocated for that big if a profit? Another way to ask, how many calls or puts is that?

Still think AMD is superior play to INTC...maybe a bit biased since I've been long AMD a bit. One thing about INTC is that its had huge drops last 2 ERs but it's getting cheap now.
INTC is losing Microsoft business, and many think AMD has better products. Not sure how true that is because I would expect a bigger drop.
Still INTC not on my list.

Intel is clearly a value stock now, I’m afraid to hold it; I’m afraid it’ll become an even bigger value while I’m holding it.

INTC still makes a mint; however, AMD is a full cycle ahead of INTC on the chip technology. If INTC can close the gap, $45-46 would be a good entry price to get a 30% return over the next 18 months.

AMD seems a bit rich to me. Plus I like companies paying 1-3% dividends. AMD is above the target price and doesn't pay dividends. So for my style it doesn't make the cut. Doesn't mean it's not a great company, just not for me.

I’ve had my eye on the JETS ETF. Looking for a pull back to buy and hold through the end of the COVID pandemic.
I've been looking at that one as well.

NIO so volatile...lots of volume...
Yeah that one drives me crazy...I bought in a little high so I am now waiting for it to go back up so I can cash out and maybe rebuy at a lower price...I had my chance last week and got greedy and it bit me in the rear LOL...So I'm gonna have to wait...Hopefully this week will be good.

Probably quite a few, but it’s only going to continue once the dems take over and put forward alternative energy proposals.

At some point the “sell on the news” effect will kick in. The alt energy stocks have done well. They should pop again if the Ds take both GA Senate seats, but I would be ready for a drop after the Harris/Biden administration takes the wheel. On the other hand I do think that infrastructure could do well as both sides could come to an agreement to stop giving away handouts and to actually invest the stimulus funds into real projects like bridges, roads, charging infrastructure, etc.

Unless there is an organized, unified push back against China I think that they will do well. Like it or not, their economy wasn’t hit as hard from COVID as the rest of the world. I’m looking at BABA this week. I doubt that the free world will unify and push back and will instead want to get their crap at a low cost from China.
