All year long we heard about the importance of SOS

Same schedule next year, except we reverse the Home/Away. After that we either get a new TV deal with 9 games (3 rivals AL, KY, Vandy) or some longtime rivalry games skip a few years (Alabama, Kentucky).

They are now saying that Indiana has a strong SOS because they played Ohio State. Of course they lost, but it was a quality loss because it was against one of the top teams. Their logic, not mine.
Indiana is -2000 to make the CFP lol. All they have to do is beat mighty Purdue. They have zero wins over ranked teams or even teams with winning records (Michigan has to play Ohio State).

We have the exact same SEC opponents on our schedule Texas does, except we played 8-3 Bama at home, and they are traveling to 8-3 A&M. That's the only conference opponent that's different. Out of conference they played Michigan and we played NC State. 3 cupcakes a piece.

Also, beat Vandy and we are in. It's as simple as that, without worrying about Texas.
Absolutely, we kinda drew the lucky card in SEC, in my opinion. Kinda glad we didn't play SC mid/late in the season to be honest.

Also, I think the nature of our wins didn't help us... when you watched us play in most of our SEC games, we have a killer D, really strong run game, but for most of the SEC season, our pass game has been inconsistent. And so that's my take w/ the voters, seeing a team that offensively has looked a bit underwhelming, which impacted how high we were rated vs peers. To be clear, we've still not played our best game. If we were to put our pass game in sync w/ everything else, we could very well win it all, and it's not a terrible stretch to say.
