No. Not really. The replacement of the old staff was a statement concerning them, not the current staff. That isn't the same as assistants walking away from the HC. It may not be in reality a statement about Spurrier but it wouldn't be that difficult to create that question in a recruits mind... without even being dishonest about it.Now I know that you are not digging at USCe but based on your logic please consider that UT is replacing their entire staff (most of the staff at least) so with regards to Alshon it is a wash.
I can't say one way or the other. If he were a liar as good as Saban, he'd probably have more talent right now...As for the speculation of SOS, I bet that he is 100% honest with what he is telling recruits. I bet that he stays at least three more years (minimum) as he told the recruits who will be RS Sophmores that he will be here until they graduate. I doubt that he told the current class the same.

I'm not digging at USCe. My wife is from Union and I generally pull for them except when they play UT. I had actually hoped SOS might pull their program up.
ihateorange is about the only thing I've found to hold against you guys.

I'm not sure he makes it that long. I am fairly sure he'll walk away before there's an inkling that USCe might fire him.
Seems like an easy choice to me. Best coaching staff in America, or school where they can't even keep their coaches and has never nor will likely ever win a SEC championship while you're there. I also like the stadium advantage we have. On campus, huge stadium vs. their crappy W-B that isn't even on campus.
Thanks, VG. Alshon has said recently that he it is 50/50 whether or not he ends up at Southern Cal. I thought that Pete Carroll said that he would pull his scholly if he took visits? Anyone have anything on that?
USC fans feel that they lead for him and are glad they get the last visit. I really think it's between us and them, but I hope that Alshon is paying attention to all these coaches jumping ship(TE coach is going to the Colts now). That program is going down the toilet (as if it had ever been out) and I wouldn't want any part of it if I were a young recruit.
