WIDEOUTS THINKING TWICE?
USC commit Alshon Jeffrey has plans to see two other schools.Jeffrey, a Southern California commitment, is seriously entertaining the idea of staying much closer to home to play his college ball.
"I'm still committed to Southern Cal and as of right now that's the plan, but I'm visiting South Carolina on Jan. 16 and Tennessee on Jan. 23," said Jeffrey. "I'll see how those visits go and take it from there. Anything can happen."
There had been some talk that Clemson had moved into the picture, but Jeffrey said it's down to a final three.
"No Clemson and no North Carolina, it's Southern Cal, South Carolina or Tennessee," he said. "I don't think I need to say why I like Southern Cal, it's L.A. and it's great offense. South Carolina is my home team. I can't say I was a fan of any one team growing up but to play in state would be good and I talked to
Lane Kiffin and he's going to run the Southern Cal offense at Tennessee so he told me I might as well stay on the east coast. After I take my last visits I'll figure it out."
