haha its not like I'm lying. He's been known to be a south carolina lean for a while now...I don't pick random recruits and say they are going to be a gamecock when they aren't.

well there's a difference there. Someone said on another site that he said he'd be a gamecock so I was just passing it along. I never offered my opinion on it.

Here's a clue: Get reliable information. Just because someone said it on the Internet doesn't make it true. If it did, then:

Take this "word is" and spread it as fast as you can... OK.... "Word is this kid is a silent to UT and that Giles will drop out and enroll at UT"

It will come down to South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee for Alshon. Family will be pushing for South Carolina. South Carolina has been Washington's leader for a while so i looks like they may wrap him up with his official. He may not verbally commit but they could very possibly get a silent.

FWIW, Alshon has cancelled his visit to Florida so this is now a two horse race between UT and South Carolina. I think that he visits columbia this weekend and knoxville next...it will be interesting to see where he ends up since originally committing to Southern Cal

IMO, it depends largely on how many (if any) of the "big-name" WRs commit here before his decides.
