Amateur Hour Continues

If the country is in such bad shape that the regular army (not militias) couldn't hold onto missiles, that would be something.

From what I could tell Obama's decision was he thought U.S. weapons would escalate the conflict.
He may have been right, hard to tell, but I supported military aid.

I was/am a Ukraine hawk, which is why I paid attention to the policy, and was never satisfied with the reasoning the Obama administration gave, or lack thereof.

Federal deficit to top $1 trillion under Trump

The national debt topped $22 trillion just two years into Trump's tenure.

The federal deficit under President Donald Trump will top $1 trillion this year, the Congressional Budget Office announced in its fiscal outlook on Tuesday.

The gap between the amount of money the federal government spends and how much revenue it brings in is expected to continue to widen, averaging $1.3 trillion every year for the next decade. While the current economy is strong, the independent budget agency said the nation will suffer unless Congress makes "significant changes to tax and spending policies."

CBO Director Phillip Swagel said "changes in fiscal policy must be made to address the budget situation, because our debt is growing on an unsustainable path."
Impeachment hypocrite.

I’m sure there’s more to this story than you’re revealing. This is reminiscent of the videos of illegals climbing over alleged new sections of the wall when in reality it was an older dilapidated section, I have to admit your tears are extra delicious tonight..😘
Oh, there sure is. The "lawyer" forgot to read why they fell over and by the tweet, so did Tom.

From the story.

"The concrete had not yet cured, according to Pitones, and the wall panels were unable to withstand the windy conditions."

Congress allocates the funds
The issue at hand is not the allocation of the funds but rather the sheer size of the budget itself, as well as the President's tax policy. The United States budget process begins when the President of the United States submits a budget request to Congress. The President's budget is formulated over a period of months with the assistance of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), which is the largest office within the Executive Office of the President. The President's budget request constitutes an extensive proposal of the administration's intended revenue and spending plans for the following fiscal year. I assume you know all of this.

Suck it China! Your pain in our gain. Republigoon for life!

Oh boo hoo . They are discussing financials , businesses aren’t ran or operated on emotions and feels . They have short term , midrange and long term goals . If a business isn’t looking at supplying China during or after this is over , they need to fire every one of their management staff . Suck it up butter cup .

Not quite so inflammatory is it?

In response to a question about how temporarily closed businesses and suspended flights will affect the global economy, Ross said companies will need to look elsewhere after halting operations in China.

“On top of all the other things, because you had SARS, you had the African Swine virus there, now you have this,” Ross said. “It’s another risk factor that people need to take into account. So, I think it will help accelerate the return of jobs to North America, some to the U.S., probably some to Mexico as well.”

Wilbur Ross says coronavirus could bring jobs back to the U.S. from China

If the U.S. has a bad flu outbreak are factories going to start moving away?
Not an unrealistic question if the US is having it's citizens quarantined on arrival with other countries discussing cutting off border access/restricting flights due to a virus that is rapidly spreading across the country with it's mortality rate/contagiousness still unknown.

I can see how that would impact the attractiveness.

But to be honest I'm not saying he's 100% right or wrong. Just the twitters are making it seem like he decided to make this statement on his own with no prompt when he was actually asked a question about how it might affect global trade.
