Tbh this might be my favorite story of this news cycle. Watching the Red Hats try to impose rules of propriety on Biden after excusing Trump’a behavior for four years is entertaining.

Watching them say things like “only a democrat could get away with this...” as if Trump didn’t say worse before they voted for him is even more amusing.

I’ve even unignored a few of the more worthless ones here, so I can flavor my coffee with their nonsense.

Then you’ve got a few of the institutionalist people on the left trying to pull Biden’s campaign out of the comode. That ship is taking on water and it hasn’t even left the harbor. Time to find a new vessel.

It's textbook Biden goofiness. Didn't realize it until this morning, but I actually know the student the said this to. He should be getting killed for not answering what is a natural question.

But don't you know @Velo Vol because he also uses the same disabled mocking gestures to make fun of people who aren't disabled it's ok to use those gestures when making fun of a disabled person. That's wisdom I learned here on volnation. Like my mom always said, "you can't call a slow person a retard unless you call normal people retards too, and then it's ok"

“ lying Dog faced pony soldier” .. it was the dog face that got him . Or showing how out of touch he is . Joe should be home enjoying life and writing books about his youth .

I feel kinda bad for him . I wish he would just get away from politics and go enjoy life . Go quiet for a while , have a beer and play some cards or dominos with your buds at the local watering hole .

I think the problem someone like Biden faces in something like this is the Dems paint themselves as better than Trump. So when they engage in questionable behavior, it comes across as hypocritical. I'm not sure what Biden's intentions were, I honestly don't care. I'm not even condemning him. His behavior doesn't offend me personally. But when you claim the moral high ground, any and every slip gets noticed. I understand the reflexive defense of "but Trump", but I'm not sure how that helps the Dems in how they paint themselves. JMO, but people expect you to live up to the standards you create for yourself. Part of Trump's success might be he doesn't have high standards, so people aren't caught off guard or surprised when he does something offensive.
