Amateur Hour Continues

So, the "parents", if can be confirmed, bring their child/children, thousands of miles on foot, to our border, are they not guilty of endangering the lives of their children?

We hear how dangerous, how life threatening that is, some coming 1000's of miles with no food or water, so, are these parents to be arrested when they hit our border? Is this not child endangerment?

If a parent leaves a child in a hot car by themselves for just a few minutes, they can be charged with a crime and arrested, and possibly lose their child. Few minutes versus few weeks, or months of endangerment.....is one endangerment greater than the other, or would they just be equal under the eyes of law......( if you answer they are not Americans and their actions were on foreign soil, then you lose already and your argument is null and void as they are exactly that, illegal, they are not entitled to be treated under our law and are actually breaking the law, thus, there is no need to house them or do anything except turn them away)

So, shouldn't these parents be arrested for putting their child/children in danger as well? So, then oh noes.. the child is separated from the parents.....but of course, here, I want to hear your excuses for why they shouldn't be separated and the parent not arrested.......the only argument is because you turn them away.

It funny, the "law" and how we are supposed to care for the illegal, show me where it says in any law to just wander up to our border and expect to be let in, come to our border and you immediately are taken into custody and housed and clothed and fed, because you, following the immigration law, were told that coming to the border is how to become an American citizen. ( if you answer they are seeking asylum and they just show up on the border instead of following the existing laws on the books, then you lose already and your argument is null and void as they are not follwoing the law)

$4 billion dollars that could have been used in so many better ways for this country.

About that employer employing these illegal immigrants......how come you get to pick and chose your arbitrary use of the law when and how you want....? Excuse the illegal law breaker, but, condemn the employer and hold them accountable and give the illegal their American citizenship? Amazing.

I'm all for kicking the everlasting monetary sh** out of these companies, so, answer my questions now. How can you fudge around the questions above.......

Enforce all laws....how about that. Tackle that issue and the legality after you can admit that your personal bias and agenda override common sense and the law, and that you arbitrarily pick which law you want to be followed and enforced how you choose.

Without the thought and belief in a "system" of codified laws man has made to be "civilized", and to exist in an economy based on faith, maybe you keep pushing agendas void of the laws and people start to not believe, maybe, in the law, and maybe people begin to personally and arbitrarily choose which law they will or won't follow.

Maybe it will change this society to a point where no laws matter, might will make right, and the people will live by their own set of laws.

What's American about killing people?

In a sad and realistic way, that is exactly what made America. We are a country of crazy people who jumped on ships and were the outliers in those societies left behind, only to come here and forge and muscle our way into being a country. English, French, Spanish, Indians, Mexicans, yeah, we are exactly a country that killed to make itself.

Also, once again, only under the guise of decency and humanity do we live this way. Take away all of our technology and electricity, add in a breakdown of modern society, and make resources scarce, and this will be what we once were before the collective good was held to the standard it is today. Survival will be the only thing that matters and "humanity" won't be the construct it is today.

Take away a belief and faith in our system and laws, and what will you have.......thus, why we must find the common themes that matter and bind us, or else, what is there.

I know my answer doesn't coorelate to the premise and intent of your question, but.....

They're here an they are people. Treat them humanely

Isn't it Trump who said, something to the effect, of these migrants carrying diseases into the country? The conditions that these children have been living in could only serve to spread any contagion. But maybe that's the whole idea.

I don't think anyone has a problem with that. The problem is how do we handle, organize, institute, and run a program where we don't have people showing up at the borders expecting us to take them in?

Do we have an immigration policy that is enforced and ensures the nominal amount, not any amount, of illegals are allowed and vetted to come in and earn the right to become citizens?

They shouldn't even be here. They came in illegally.

Bus them all back across the border, don't let anyone in without first following protocols in place for those legitimately seeking asylum.
Register with ICE and keep them notified of your location. Consider it your probation period to becoming a citizen. Required sponsors, US citizens, should also know your location and be notified of your hearings.

If you don't show up for your hearings...you blew your only chance and earned a permanent trip back across the border.
