Amateur Hour Continues

Honestly, Trump is the only one to propose some sort of common sense solution. At least he is trying something, unlike the rest of the pos politicians.

Problem: people coming across the border illegally.
Solution: stop people from coming across the border illegally by putting an obstacle in the way of entrance.
About as simple as it can be put out there.

Besides some entertainment and hopeful dialogue, I'm past the point of caring. All of this won't affect me or have any effect on my life. Unlike 99% of the rest of the population, you will have to deal with this for many years to come.

Or, the people in D.C. like, Congress, who were elected and are not doing their jobs......... the blame isn't just on Trump.
The left doesn't want it fixed, they had plenty of opportunity to try complete amnesty and they never tried any legislation. They want to use these people as just another way to say Trump bad

How was it that the Republicans took this on when they had both houses? Or is it that the "immigration problem" is convenient political rhetoric.

You are correct, there is a lot of blame to go around for and on both sides, anyone saying otherwise is a party shill. Both sides don't really care.

Many Rs in Congress are too weak to take the problem on. Now let's hear your theory on why your party didn't fix it

I didn't see the interview, but based on these two threads it was really something. Imagine listening to this word salad and thinking there's some great strategy going on behind the scenes.

Becoming a naturalized citizen of this country is a granted privilege that brings you the rights of citizenship.

It's not anyone's "right" just because they'll pick oranges, roof a house or process chickens on the cheap and live in a crap country.

We have almost 300 embassies and consulates around the world. Seems likely that if one has a legitimate asylum claim they could find one of them and use the proper processes and not be trying to bum-rush our border.

It's just as you said, but "fixing it" doesn't happen in the short term, especially with a simple majority. Trump did turn down a 25 billion border wall deal that would have passed if it were allowed a vote. Arguing about how to fix it apparently is more appealing than getting down to agreeing on something.

I agree, the process should be difficult, expensive and long. Immigration policy in large part is not there to help the immigrant, it's to help this country.

I have asked dems many times, what's the magic number of illegals we need to let in? Right now we are at about 12-20 million, clearly to them that's not enough. So is it 50 million? 100 million? 300 million? Also why stop at just latinos, let go round up the poor all over the world and bring here.

Since you’re clearly racist, I’m sure there are white countries you could find. I’m sure you’ll find them too “socialist” though.

Here 's the deal in a nutshell...….to the point that maybe even you can understand:

You can't bring there here without making here there. I don't want to live in f*****g Nicaragua.
