Amateur Hour Continues

I bet he has one of every kind. Just read wikipedia page and apparently in 2005 the leaders were found corrupt:

"In July 2004, the United States Senate published an investigation into Riggs Bank, a Washington-based bank into which most of Equatorial Guinea's oil revenues were paid until recently, and which also banked for Chile's Augusto Pinochet. The Senate report showed at least $35 million siphoned off by Obiang, his family and regime senior officials. The president has denied any wrongdoing. Riggs Bank in February 2005 paid $9 million in restitution for Pinochet's banking, no restitution was made with regard to Equatorial Guinea."

We're really doing this all wrong. We give them money, and it disappears. China bribes corrupt dictators to accept loans to pay for faulty stuff they build for the country. When the country defaults (and it will), China owns them. Granted most of those countries aren't worth much, but some do have minerals and worthwhile strategic locations.

"Cables from U.K.'s Ambassador to the US blast Trump as 'inept', incompetent" by Michelle Kosinski, Schams Elwazer and Stephen Collinson, CNN 10:04 pm EDT July 6, 2019

Diplomatic cables sent from the United Kingdom's ambassador to the United States back to London describe President Donald Trump as "inept", "insecure" and "incompetent" a U.K. official confirmed Saturday to CNN.

The leak could cause serious diplomatic damage between the two "special relationship" allies.

While foreign envoys of all nations are often candid in classified dispatches back home, there are periodic episodes when such assessments leak, causing great political embarrassment. Months of efforts by the ambassador, Sir Kim Darroch and his diplomats to build trust with Trump and his political acolytes will be undermined.

The cables were leaked to and first published by the Daily Mail.

Darroch used secret cables and briefing notes to warn the UK government that Trump's "career could end in disgrace," and described conflicts within the White House as "knife fights," according to the Daily Mail.

A UK government source told CNN the memos described in the Daily Mail story are genuine.

The Daily Mail says the memos span the period between 2017 to present day, covering everything from Trump's foreign policy to his 2020 reelection plans. ....

Nice to see that our President has earned such great respect from an old and important ally.

Remind me again , is this the one that won’t follow through on their legal vote to do what the people chose to do and leave the EU? That same government sh!t show is critical of our government and president after their PM just left office over all of that hot mess ? That’s the one right ?

Really? They've been using us to do their bidding for over 100 years.

I actually agree with you on that one. Europeans couldn't do their socialist thing if they had had to rebuild after their last intersectional tiff (WW2) and then pay for their own defense after.

As far as British dysfunction goes, Trump outlasted their last PM, and don't be surprised if he outlasts another.
