It discourages rather than encourages future similar behaviors. And that's really the most important thing of all.

The thing w/me is I don't have tweeter & don't read the crap.I only read or see it when another poster inserts the tweet into a thread. I don't understand what the fascination is when people live or die w/others tweeting. People react like little kindergarden children out on a playground trying to shame others for what's said. And over the last week mainstream Dems have been happy to distance themselves from her and her unamerican cohort.
