Not forever, he won't. And, we may be seeing the effects as we speak. If you can't see that our country is headed down a path of destruction, then you are blind.

As to the second part of your comment, it isn't "my" Bible, it is "The" Bible. And, no it does not. If you are referring to the passage in Numbers, that was a means to induce sterility.

Don't waste your time Kiddiedoc.

I'm not trying to waste time, just make him think. Maybe if he had the opportunity to delivery and hold a few extremely premature infants while they die he might rethink his position on what exactly those things are that are growing so amazingly in a mother's womb.

Sterility? Number 5:11-31 describes how a priest should perform an abortion on a woman if she is believed to have been unfaithful to her husband (notice there's no burden of proof, just the husbands belief that she may have been).

The priest then pours "bitter water" into her womb. And if she was faithful to her husband, it would not curse her. But if she was unfaithful, it would cause the woman to miscarry.

So in your opinion, pouring chemicals into a girls vag so that she will lose her child....in your opinion that's not an abortion?

Edit: I just reread the passage and she drinks the bitter water. It isn't poured in her. But that doesn't make it any better.

I agree with you. But we (politics forum) know his opinion on this subject. He lives to bash God and the Bible.

Once you grasp the scope of the issue and think logically (I.e.: Are babies alive? Are they human?), abortion ceases to be a laughing matter.

The only thing that should be predictable is that we continue to fight against the injustices in the world and the lives of unborn children. We should not only persevere through persecution, but expect it, as we were warned.

I do grasp it and have dealt with it on a personal level.

I don't agree with all cases but having some useless government tell everyone the choice they need to make is also not acceptable. The consequences of that are even worse

No you didn't. Provide a quote if true

Always get a good laugh out of the abortion/homosexuality/Christian nation debates. Very predictable

Somebody on TV, if I could find it I can't post links. That's where I heard the name they have for them. I get tivkled and sickened by someone like you who gets offended over somebody bashing a pedophile.

I just don't get that argument. What if your 2 year old is a pain in the ass? Should you be able to choose to toss him in the blender? If a baby is a human, and a baby is alive (which are both pretty tough to argue), then you shouldn't have a legal "choice" to kill it.

Dr James Cantor PJ, said it was a sexual orientation like homosexuality. You can find it on Google just as easy as you took the time to get all offended at me for bad mouthing someone who defends these idiots. You, I guess because of your liberal beliefs and I'm a Christian, call me a liar for stating something I heard on TV? What the crap man? I'd like an explanation as to calling me a liar.

Yeah, that's the kind of garbage sensationalist argument you like to use. Read it again. Nowhere does it indicate an abortion, but that her womb would swell and thigh fall away, and she would be unable to conceive children.

Only feel like a masochist when I wander into the politics forum. Now it's washing up in the pub. Which I always liked as a safe haven.

Both are still better than te FF during football season.

We have a OT thread over there that politics aren't allowed in. You should check it out.

Mercy could have used your help on his car problems.

"And if the woman be not defiled....she shall be free and shall conceive". The entire reason for this ritual is to prevent a woman who has slept with another man from having his child. This is very clearly an abortion. It even says at the end that is she hasn't been defiled, then she will have a child.

I wasn't trying to derail a thread. I see these stories and make comments about these sick people, then come back for an update and see I've been called a liar. Now the person who called me a liar has disappeared.
