I don't believe I am typing these words but I like the boys from Bama

CJ might have a shot to go all the way. I also like Jessica Meuse who is from a town near Montgomery.

The gump state has typically done well on Idol. It's one of only 2 states to produce multiple winners.

I like both the Alabama guys personalities but CJ is clearly the stronger singer of those two. He's got a better range and more consistent pitch.

Ben made it to the top 15. He better in the top 10 tonight since we voted for him. Serious.

The truth of the matter is too, based on the 5 or so I watched while I was eating dinner, he was the best of the group. Sang a song by a real band and even had a guitar solo. Enjoyed him thoroughly, and I normally don't like idol anymore.

Yeah he is definitely good. I liked him before the Power T. Idol is much better this year with the current judges.

First time ever Idol was on THREE nights in a row. Thanks Fox for fubar'ing my poor DVR that had no idea and myself.

2 hours of girls Tuesday
2 hours of boys Wednesday
1 hour of trimming to top 13 on Thursday

I called the 3 wild cards they picked from the 5 that sang! Glad that Idol stopped catering to the teenybopper crowd! Props to them!

Close.. Caleb.

I like several, CJ, Ben, Dexter, Alex(strange looking dude but solid singer so far). Still really early so that's very subject to change.

No clue why or how MK made it in that top 13, she really isn't a good singer.

It appears to me the overall group of the boys are better than the girls .

Yep, I was thinking the same thing when I watched the last 3 shows this week. Definitely more star potential with the guys. None of the girls wow'd me this week.

I knew it was something like that. And I totally agree on MK.

I only enjoyed maybe 4 of those performances from tonight.

Dexter, Majesty (was honestly really good until the last few notes), Caleb(although consistent I got bored because I didn't know the song), CJ.

I'll call the bottom 3: Malaya, MK, and Ben might actually be in trouble.

Idol is bad this year. Overall the talent is not there this season. I thought Dexter was by far the best of the night.

Nobody did very good, including Ben. And Fox didn't have audio/video sync then entire show. Terrible.

This! I meant to mention this earlier. It seems like every song they have where there are a lot of visual effects and loud background tracks/band playing the microphone for the singer is more quiet than the music.
So during Dexter's song he did have a lot going on behind him so you could hear his song really well.

I seriously doubt if 3 of the remaining Idol contestants could get a chair turned if they were doing a blind audition on the Voice. I think any contestant chosen on the Voice thus far could easily win Idol. The difference in the talent level of the two shows is astounding. Can only blame it on the Idol judges, they have failed selecting contestants.
