Said to have held his head in his hands and had the people with him not clap or stand when Durbin performed last night.



That said If James Durbin gets the opportunity to record an album. I will buy it. I have yet to buy anything any Idol or other idol performer has done. I really don't care who wins now.

Regardless of the outcome tonight, all four will be on radio. It's all in where the market goes as far as who will be most successful. But they all four will be able to make a living as a singer/performer. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

Back then, who predicted the 4th place person on Idol to really do anything of any significance?? Everyone was just as pissed, but there wasn't exactly great expectations for him either. He was one that really broke the mold, even though there are really only a few contestants who won to really ever do much in the recording industry. If Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood don't produce, Idol dies a fast death.

Exactly. They'll all get their chance. Management and producing will have a lot to do in determining how far they go.

There's something in his voice that is very pleasing to me. It's that "thing" that is different for each person. He won me over at his audition when he came out and hugged his wife. With James, I know his family is important to him too, but his voice doesn't have that thing that makes me listen.

I think with some professional voice coaching, which he probably won't pay for, he can and will become a rock recording artist. I listen to James, and I can't help but think of the lead singer of Shinedown.

Agreed! James deserved to be in the finals. Just like Adam Lambert deserved to win. I have a sick feeling that for next season the rules will change and the judges will have more say in matter. Did you see the look on the judges faces last night? Oh well, should've kept that save for James!

Country radio has a spot for two of em but I'm not so sure about the other two.....

I had totally forgotten that he was runner-up the year Sparks won it.
