Word around the Internet....1. Hes on the Tonight show tonight. 2. Big surprise at the idol finale.

Durbin Day is on for today.

According to the Santa Cruz Sentinel, "On Friday, 'Idol' agreed, for the first time in its history, to allow an exception and to sponsor an eliminated competitor for a homecoming concert. Traditionally, the show only sponsors hometown trips for the top three. Durbin finished fourth in the competition."

The article states however that the footage will not be used at this time.

They showed Durbin's Santa Cruz concert footage, first thing....to stunned silence and awkwardness. I don't think with everthing that has been printed and rumored that anyone new quiet what to do. Amazing.
