Just got done watching last night's performances, and I think that Scotty did the best out of all of them. Lauren did good, but I think she's so young that it's hard for her to own certain parts of the songs she performs. My favorite performance was the Rhianna performance by Haley.

My Top 2......

Scotty and Haley

Love me some Lauren, but I just don't think she carries herself in her songs as well as Haley.

I didn't care for the song choice, but thought she sang it well. the judges have been crying all year about her song choices then picked that one. I was really hoping they would choose Black Velvet.

With James Durbin Gone and nothing else on TV last night I ended up listening to Durbin on YouTube while watching.......

Will Haley have a career or have a shot at winning. I have given up on thinking America knows anything about the best talent, case in point Durbin. So does she have a shot Yes.


Same with Scotty.


Same with Lauren.


I think at this point for me anyways. I will stick to the closest ones to home which is Garner NC. and Roswell, GA. Lauren and Scotty As the final two. I just don't like Haley. Sexy, yes in a type of personality in a woman you run away from kind of way.

So between Scotty and Lauren, The two kids. Don't really care but I think Lauren wins it. Just because Scotty is considered the front runner and we all know America knows who the best most talented sure fire talented performer is, case in point James Durbin.

As you have stated 20 times, to each his own.

However for what durbin has turned into right before your eyes, which is a rock star, your so called scream is part of it. I think his possibilities and opportunities will be endless. His persona, stage presence and Vocal talent (which was well represented) was far and away the best this year and maybe ever on idol. Truly the total package. If you don't like the stage performance vocals check out the studio versions of his song...vocally perfect.

I love Black Velvet! When I say over sang, it sounded to me like she tried to hit parts so hard she couldn't sing it. She's very talented as a performer though.

Legs won't have the career some people think she will, imo. Lauren or Scotty either one will more marketing appeal than Haley. And probably more than James too. That isn't saying anything about anybody's singing ability. Consumerism is a fickle thing.

I don't know why some are acting so surprised. After Chris Allen won over Adam Lambert, nothing should surprise you. Yes Idol is a popularity contest. Pure and simple. However, there has to be a reason WHY some of these contestants have less support than others. Why did the American audience prefer Lauren over Pia or Haley? Why did they prefer Scotty over James or Casey? Also, some of you are simply allowing your opinion of who is the best to be fact instead of your opinion. "Haley was the best." Well, ok if that's how you feel then fine. However I'm sure I can find just as many who say Lauren is the best. It's all about personal choice. Besides, it's not exactly as if Lauren is chopped liver. She's a very talented singer. Even back during her audition Steven Tyler said himself "I think we found the one!" And "Yo Yo Dawg" said "best we've heard all day!!" So even back then the judges knew she was a talent.

Keep this in mind, historically the person who comes in 3rd a lot of times deterimines the winner. Will Haley's votes go to Lauren or Scotty? That's exactly what happened to Chris Allen. When Danny Goki came in 3rd, all of his fans voted for Chris. That's how he beat Adam even though Adam probably should have won. However look now at who's on the charts and who isn't.

yes. seems like the type that would demand all kinds of crazy stuff on her backstage rider. dressing room must be exactly 74.8°, miniature giraffes, 3-ply toilet paper only....and brand new toilet seats installed, her coffee shall be stirred counter-clockwise with approved swizzle sticks....

I confess, i was pulling for Haley because of her looks.

But IMO she could sing, plus she "got the Led out" and i liked it.

Haley has much more marketing appeal than Lauren and definitely Scotty.
