American Sniper

Guy shot 160 people from far away. Hero. Got it. Still a pathologic liar. Why not make a movie about military personnel that aren't liars? Oh...because that won't attract millions of dollars.

The first three sentences in your previous post shows you know absolutely nothing at all in regards to the subject at hand and your opinion means nothing. Have a nice day.

Really, you couldn't see the sarcasm in those three lines? I understand it. Shooting people in a war I don't support is not heroic. His legacy is even more diminished by the abundance of lies he told to gain fame. Not movie worthy.

Maybe he had a strange sense of humor and liked to BS a lot. Either way, anyone that believed the superdome Katrina story he supposedly told should check their gullibility at the door. It's one of worst places to be as a sniper...not to mention it was occupied by several thousand evacuees at the time.

It's not even something a respectable person would joke about. And what about the claims that he killed two carjackers in Texas and punched Jesse Ventura in the face? Those were fabricated, too. As well as him claiming 100+ more kills than the Pentagon confirmed. He was a liar and should not be viewed as any type of role model.

1. The folks in Minnesota would thank Chris Kyle if that happened.

2. His actions during his deployments validated 2 silver stars and 5 bronze stars with Valor. I'd say he's earned the role model title.

The liberals really don't like this movie

No doubt. The American people spoke by making it the best opening weekend movie in January. They added an additional theatre in Dickson and all the showings sold out on Friday through Sunday.

Not everyone believes war and killing to be admirable and worth emulating

What makes him a pathological liar?

When it involves duty, courage, honor and acts of selflessness then yeah...it's worth emulating.
