Or the part where they pay taxes every time they purchase goods. Unplug that purchasing power from the economy and what do you get?

I'd love to watch the faces of the people if we were able to just round up all 12-20 million in one day and deport them back to their home nations. I would love to see what happens to tax revenue, the desperate attempt to fill jobs, and the lack of goods moving from the store shelves.

They pay FICA taxes. Most all businesses will accept the false documentation they are given and pay the estimated tax payments (which comes out of the workers' checks) because the penalty for tax fraud is much steeper and easier to prosecute than the penalty for knowingly hiring illegal immigrants.

the majority of illegal immigrants claim some ungodly number of dependents to avoid paying as little taxes as possible. What possibly makes you think they wouldn't? They are here illegally so they are worried if they pay their fair share of taxes? Of course they don't.

They owe this country in unpaid taxes, unpaid medical bills, uninsured motorist accidents, etc.

The majority of illegal immigrants do not file tax returns, hence they are not claiming any dependents, and they definitely are not claiming them on their W-4s.

Also, what have you done to earn your citizenship? I would be willing to bet that you owe a lot of Americans, throughout the centuries, a whole lot. What are you doing to repay that debt? Trying to get rid of freedom and liberty. Kudos to you.

Real there is a special on Shotime about a Marine who turned out to be gay but served his country well. I thought it was a great documentary that you would like very much no matter how you view the situation. He is a good Marine. Watch it.:thumbsup:

CS, I was so happy to see your much-touted bill fail. Not a big surprise really, I knew it would. The American people are tired of being fed a line of bull. This time our voices were heard. No amnesty. No entitlement. No free ride! No to big multi-national companies looking to leach off Americans yet deprive them of their jobs so they can give them to people who work for dirt! America may yet have a chance, but I really doubt it. We still have open borders. Borders open to millions more illegals and a whole host of terrorists! Bravo Congress! I am going to be sick. :sick:

The construction businesses I know that employ illegals pay under the table. I doubt the fake document issue is as large as people claim. I think the point in employing illegals is to avoid this whole process. To pay FICA I know my stepfather's business wrote one check to the Feds to cover ALL federal taxes - FICA, Medicare, income taxes.

That's not really true. You can get the fake documents in LA, SF and many other places in California with little to no trouble. Plus they steal social security numbers all the time. The problem is actually a lot bigger than most will admit.:thumbsup:

I'm still waiting on where this bill said amnesty. My bet is very few of the listeners of talk radio or viewers of Dobbs, etc. even read the bill. Most opponents believed the spoonfed comments given them by others doing thinking for them. I've challenged many to show me where amnesty was in this bill and have yet to find one person to prove it. I guess the loud voices crying out on this were the factions Madison and Hamilton feared. Unfortunately thanks to defeating this, the whole reason they've griped about will continue to proceed if not get worse. So cheer as much as you want. I don't see how you can call keeping illegals coming in the door a victory.

You know, you sound eerily similar to Bush. If it looks like a rat, smells like a rat and acts like a rat, well, that’s probably a rat. Fancy word games and dancing around the issue did little to dissuade the savvy Americans who saw right through this legislation for what it was, AMNESTY. Again, it doesn’t have to say amnesty to be amnesty. Do you actually think they would write the word Amnesty into the bill? Please. This was obvious for all to see and that’s why it failed. Bush has ZERO political capital left. He sold out the American people with this legislation and it is yet another testament to his COMPLETE failure as a President. Thanks Bush, or should I say gracias Bush? Go back to Texas and stay there!

As far as the whole illegals still coming in the front door, well, last year congress approved over 800 miles of border fence. To date and in point of fact only 13 miles have been constructed. Why hasn’t the 800 miles of fence that was already authorized been built? Why hasn’t anything been done to secure our borders more than five years after 9/11? I’ll tell you why, kowtowing to ethno centric interests and big business are more important than the needs of the American people. You my friend are playing right into their hands.

They dont file tax returns, because they are here illegally, thats a given.

I guarantee you they are claiming dependents. You can claim as many dependents as you want on your W-2 form, it doesn't affect anything except the amount of money the govt takes out of your check. All you do is fill out a form and put down how many dependents you want to claim, you don't have to prove they are dependents at that point.

You can either pay the taxes up front, or pay later when you file. But illegals never pay later, because they never file, even though they claim all these dependents they don't have. They owe taxes, they are not owed a return.

I think it goes without saying both Madison and Hamilton are rolling in their graves as we type. If they could see the utter lack of enforcement at the border and the complete capitulation of our sovereignty they would go berserk.

Anyone who thinks the illegals are paying their own way in terms of tax revenue is either insane or a member of a special ethno centric lobbying firm that support open border anarchy. The few who do pay minimal taxes comes nowhere near what they take. Just go to any emergency room, school, college or welfare office. Not trying to put illegals down or anything, but this is a fact. We are getting ripped off and ultimately you and I will pay for it. One way or another the American people are getting ripped off for foreigners who care little for out country, our way of life, our values and our heritage. Just imagine if you went to Mexico and started demanding that their be bilingual education offered in English and you went to the hospital and demanded treatment. They would just laugh at you. Yet if the US doesn’t do all of this for them we are somehow the evil ones. Anyone catch the booing of Miss America in Mexico City? Did anyone catch the soccer fans chanting Osama in 2003 during a US-Mexico soccer match? Why do we really need these people? Oh wait that’s right, we don’t. Big business interests want them. Big business wants to outsource the jobs Americans will do and what few jobs are left go to illegals. Americans without an education are screwed. A man just can’t make an honest living anymore without an education. So why do we need 13 million unskilled workers? You got me…

Illegal Immigrants kill an average of 25 Americans per day. Yeah and they want to give them amnesty, that's funny. For all those "Amnesty Lovers" imagine someone breaking into your house, killing your family, and making you watch. That's the same thing that happens when drunk illegals kill people on the road, streets, and robberies. Get rid of these parasites and tell them to go get their own country and don't let the door hit ya on the way out.
