Amy Coney Barrett Supreme Court

Blumenthal tells Americans to stand up & vote. We do just that and it doesn't agree w/his agenda. But Americans are nothing but deplorable & are a big POS that don't
know what they're doing according to him. Blumenthal is a waste of air to America.
Democrats only want the SCOTUS to do their job for them....pass legislation that otherwise will not pass at all.

MAGA! Let granny die. This is 'Murica. If you can't carry your weight, best to dig your own grave. Can't have you leachin' off me. Gotta buy my second Trump 2020 boat and some packs of Bud for tonight's boat parade.

This is America, pull your weight and take care of your granny.

Boat parades are during the day. Except for Christmas.

The arrival of the poor, the uninsured, and the underinsured at a hospital for basic care has been, is now, and will continue to be the problem. But with the end of the ACA, that last group is going to get bigger. People at the bottom of the economic scale, but eeking a living, could get coverage for at least some things under the ACA. Not perfect but better than everyone loading up on Medicaid.

Which is exactly what is going to happen when the ACA is scrapped. Trump and the GOP have been saying for years that "You'll get to keep your preexisting," which is an inartful way of saying it will be covered with whatever they put in place of the ACA. And that is just not true. Not true at all.

The irresponsibility of the Republicans in coming with any meaningful alternative despite over 70 attempts to repeal the ACA is about to create a tsunami of financial problems for the country and for many states.

Easiest way to encourage everyone to but insurance is to let the individual deduct 100% of a policies premium from their taxes. No income limits.

She is qualified and will be confirmed.

The Dems are going to do the only thing they can with this, which is to bash the GOP over the head with the fact that this likely means the end of the ACA and that the GOP has yet, despite its promises for about 7 years, to come up with any viable alternative.

The boards at Blue Cross, Prudential, etc., have the champagne loaded on ice. And get ready for an onslaught of insanely inefficient indigent care expenses at your local hospital.

Bashing the party is expected from both sides , the problem I have and you said it in your post is that the left doesn’t have any opinions this time . They can’t call her a racist because of her kids , they can’t call her a party girl because she’s walks a straight line and they can’t go too hard on Catholics because of several Catholics in Congress . We all know that all of the things would be on the table if they could . It’s turned into nothing more than a public character assassination that doesn’t require any proof at all just accusations like the Kavanaugh trial / job interview / hearing .

Blumenthal ain't nothing but a dickhead & a Schumer go along crybaby at best. He doesn't give a rats behind about law & justice as long as it only has something to do w/what Democrats will offer as loony laws. It's just all a sham to Blumenthal. What a waste this idiot has been to America...
If that lying POS (Danang Dick) comes back on, check out his left hand. He must have Parkinson's, or takes medication for being bi-polar that makes his left hand shake. He has hand tremors bad.

It's cute that you think the drug addicts, homeless, and illegals are signing up for the ACA, because they are not, and they still along with psych patients the biggest issue and cost in healthcare. Much like with COVID, the states with GREAT leadership in hospitals (like Tennessee) will survive and do even better when the ACA is scrapped, the liberal cities run by anarchy, homelessness, gangs, and terrible leftist policies will struggle because the people are mindfed to believe to be under government services birth to death

You need a lot of work on your reading comprehension. I agree that the abject poor, the homeless, the drug addicts, etc., are not signing up for the ACA. They did not pay for healthcare before. They are not paying for it under the ACA. They will not pay anything under whatever comes next.

But by getting the working poor to pay SOMETHING and thereby giving increased access to primary care for that population short of the hospital ER has a benefit to everyone. The ACA broadened the base of those paying something into the system and it increased efficiencies.

Every proposal floated by the GOP has always had three problems inherent in them. First, it massively benefits insurers at the expense of those with preexisting conditions. Second, it eventually bankrupts them if the condition is serious and puts them onto Medicaid. Third, it does not get to the root problem which is part and parcel of what you wrote -- if you are unlucky enough to be sick and lose your coverage for any reason, including reasons out of your hands, you are doomed to get substandard care and eventually no care.

Your assumption is that government run healthcare isn't substandard which anyone who has worked in the field can tell you is a lie.

Susan Collins has the best head fake in the game.

She is pathetically transparent. I don't know who has less respect for her: the Republicans she pretends not to toe the line for, or the Democrats who know she is pretending and that she is going to do it every time.

Very rare for bipartisan agreement these days. But Collins brings us all together in shared disdain. It is a rare talent for someone to have the ability to piss off everybody, but Collins has it down to a science.
Well she's gone in January so that's good at least

Lol, the profiteers are scared to death. Take away the cash cow in favor of healthcare that actually focuses on patient over profit and they lose their minds.

I'm just waiting for her tweet a copy of her "very concerned" letter ... before casting her vote for Barrett.

Profit is what makes our healthcare the best in the world.

If you had a life threatening condition and could go anywhere in the world for treatment, where would you go?

I understand that rather than cutting actual clinical staff we should be cutting the ancillary staff that are carried on the backs of patients and clinical workers. Half of “healthcare” employees are non-clinical. Medical coders and billers, sales reps, hospital executives, insurance jobs... all unnecessary wastes that drive up the cost for patients and solely rely on healthcare as a for-profit industry.

Its a contest between her and L. Graham as to who has the weakest principled positions.
