Hart is no better ( and I never thought I would say this) than you know who. His last name also begins with "H". Where do they find these losers- and they make a lot of money to crank out these off-the-wall decisions. First he insults and embarrasses St. Pat Summit, then he plumps for Sal, now this Butch Jones thing with the program-killing contract. I wouldhave offered Chris Pedersen $5 mill/yr . It makes no sense that Strong would prefer to coach at Louisville when he could make more money here and play in the big leagues instead of aaa. The atmosphere at UT has been poisoned by someone or a group. Our money will spend OK- I checked with Dooley.

As I understand it, the real problem at UT isn't Hart. It's the academic requirements. We are at a disadvantage in recruiting when other schools can go after guy's we have no chance of getting in school. Coaches know this and they want no part of a program that hamstrings their recruiting efforts. The SEC is tough enough without these self imposed obstacles. Until UT gets that fixed, Dave Hart, nor anyone else, is going to attract a coach like the fan base expects. I'm not saying UT should be at the bottom in academic requirements but we certainly don't need to be near the top if we want to play big time football.
