Anarchy In Portland

They were arrested for rioting and are teachers.

The antifa part is mute after the above facts.

Again, arrested teachers who were rioting.

Yeah, its a photo of mugshots that makes claims about some being both teachers and members of antifa. No supporting information, but of course that's enough for the demented Twiterrers to be calling for blood.

Same kind of sht that goes on here everyday.

So you have confirmation other than this tweet or the graphic in it that these people are actually teachers? I'm not saying they aren't, but I'm a little sceptical of random Twitter accounts posting graphics from a random outfit that seems to be nothing more than a facebook account.

It's bullsht... 99.9% sure it's just a continuation of a BS narrative that 50% of teachers are Antifa.

You know what isn't a crime, regardless of your occupation? Claiming to be a member of Antifa.

Seems silly to compound a poor person's problems by fining them for being homeless. It doesn't really address the problem. It just pushes them down the road to be someone else's problem. I can understand why that might be attractive to some, but truthfully, we need to find ways to help those can be helped. Not all people are homeless through fault of their own. Not a fan of abandoning people in need, but I also realize, they have to be willing to help themselves as well. It can't be a one way street.
The homeless problem is related to drug addiction and mental health problems. Enforced treatment for both would create a huge dent. Of course the CoVid “crisis” will probably create a third category due to job loss

...and here I was thinking that if it's on twitter and I want to believe, it has to be true!

Other than my estimated .01% chance of it being true... everything about it smells like BS.

Of course it isn't you who I felt needed convincing. I'm not sure anyone needed convincing, in actuality. It's usually trolls feeding themselves, and a few uber dopes in the mix.

I would love to pick your submariner brain, but know about sealed lips. Had a friend on the USS Alabama and got nothing, as I should.

Go read "Blind Man's Bluff", by Sherry Sontag. Apparently, she hung out at the Horse & Cow long enough to get some folks to talk to her. Solid research.

"Crimson Tide" is total BS. "Hunt for Red October" has some scenes with truth in them, but still about 80% BS. "Down Periscope" is 100% BS, but don't we all wish it was how things really were...

Read the book. There's some stuff in there that, IMO, should probably still be classified.

Oh...do some reading up on K-129 and the USS Scorpion. Dig deep enough, and who knows what you may find out?

Edit: "Das Boot" gave me chills. Obviously way before my time, but there were points in that movie where I was sweating. Whoever made that one did their homework.

Blind Man's Bluff.... excellent read. I especially liked the part about tapping the phone lines from Petropavlovsk (I think... it has been 20 years since I read it).

When I was in the Navy, I was one of the ways that the submarines got the EAMs. Crimson Tide is not TOTAL BS... but I get your point.

Too bad Clancy was such a d!ck.

ABNCP or Tacamo? Just guessing.

Did you tow those arrays in an aircraft? What are they called TACAMO (Take Charge and Move Out)?

You know what else isn’t a crime, regardless of your occupation? Claiming to be a member of the KKK. Duh?

Good guess. Tacamo. I have a claim to fame there. I was the aircraft commander that flew the last flight of 24/7 airborne alert. Did a carrier break coming back into base early in the morning to find the skipper waiting in the chocks for me. I thought I was in trouble. He liked the break. :)

ABNCP... wow. I hadn't thought about that in 30 years....

I have noticed that the anifa crowd goes apoplectic when they are doxxed, yet that seems to be one of their go-to tools. Frankly, I do not understand why they wear masks and try so hard to hide their identities. Seems like back in the 80s a bunch of states passed laws to ban masked protests because people were worried about klan violence and not being able to identify the perps.

Legalize all the recreational drugs and make them really cheap, maybe even free, but ban the drugs that can reverse an overdose. Problem solved.

Yeah Covid has allowed people to avoid being identified regardless of what their motive is. Any bad acting gets labeled Antifa, or BLM.

As far as the doxxing, in this case, it's just a claim without any supporting evidence. I'm doubting they're teachers or Antifa, if it were true, surely at least the being teachers part would be easy enough to substantiate.
