Anarchy In Portland

View attachment 296164
So this dude had his name in a tattoo on his back, and the feds identified him, and now he is facing 20 years.😂😂😂😂 What a dope! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
He reports being homeless the past two years. This is one of many things that pisses me off about the professional protester class. They prey on the homeless in in large cities, offering them food, booze, a sympathetic ear, a sense of protection from police harassment, and probably drugs in some cases. In turn, they use the homeless as expendable foot soldiers once they've incited them to violence and mayhem. The bohemian transgender person from NYC gets a $25K go fund me after having her bail paid by Lord knows who, and the homeless people are going to rot in jail. I watched this play out during the occupy Nashville movement in 2008/9 and I'm watching it again now at the 'Ida Wells' Plaza.

It needs to stop somehow. I’ve seen a homeless guy from Memphis, get a lot of things just for holding a sign on the street corners. I stopped to give him some change, but understood that a guy two cars ahead of me gave him a 100 dollar bill. I haven’t seen this violence like what’s happening in Portland in Memphis. They do have a dem mayor that is full of crap, Strickland. I’ve heard that in four years, a lot of people is going to vote republican the next time around. People here are pretty tired of the way Memphis is looking, by the way. A lot of blacks here in Memphis are waking up. Just hearing while I’m around, and it’s changing here for once.

I never give these scammers money. They are perfectly able to work but they stand at highway exits with crappy cardboard signs begging for money and more often than not some dumbass throws them a 20 out of guilt apparently.

You’ll learn quick living in California not to give them money , you’ll go broke and they will go get in their cars and back (home ) at the end of the shift with your money . The only people I give money to now are the ones that don’t ask me for it . Then I just trust they will use it for what they need because it’s not my money anymore .

I carry a few ones in the glove box in case I'm approached (or for Shriners, firemen, etc). Sure many could be scammers but there's always going to be at least one who isn't. I don't feel like making that one pay for the actions of others.

(This was totally not my idea but described to me by one of my pastors. I just adopted it and hope to pass it on like she did)

He was a veteran. I only give a little change to him every once and a while, when I go by there. Sorry, that I didn’t mention he is in a wheel chair out there. He has showed me his I’d before. He also showed me his veteran card. He told me that he lives with his wife that can get around. He was a marine for 32 years.

Sorry I don't buy it. No marine for 32 years needs money, he has a nice pension. You're being scammed. Believe it you want, I don't.

Wife and I went to Asheville for our anniversary a couple years ago. Walking out of Barley’s a “homeless” guy on a cellphone took it down from his ear and asked us if we could give him some money. I said no but you’re welcome to this pizza. He rolled his eyes, took the pizza, and got back on the phone to bitch to whoever he was talking to about it. I lold.

A retired Marine with 32 years ,if he reached rank of an E-7 would get about $3,700 a month.(IF the rules haven't changed) Plus could get up to another $3,200 a month if his disability is service connected. On the other hand, I have trouble seeing a Marine of 32 years begging on a street corner. It would just not be in his DNA. You sure the guy is a former 32 year Marine?

Offer to buy them food instead of cash and you’ll see real quickly who the scammers are

Suppose a group of people were trying to light your house on fire and you went outside to confront them. Would I blame you if their friends came over and set your house on fire?

No, I wouldn’t. By your logic, you would be beating yourself up for causing the fire at your house. This is moron thinking. Prove me wrong.

Ok, if some dudes had been spray painting my house with graffiti and it was pissing me off, I would be hoping some people could come over and help me rum them off.

If the dudes that came to help were disliked by the neighborhood even more than myself, resulting in even more people coming, and they were relentlessly trying to fight with those that came to help, while also escalating damage to my house... i might just have to say "Thanks guys, but it's just gotten out of control." And I might add, "Make sure they see you leave"

So in your hypothetical situation why would your neighbors not want people to come help you? Are your neighbors actually for the spray painting of your house by the perpetrators? So your neighbors are against you keeping your property from being damaged, maybe they are the ones carrying out the damage. Seems very nonsensical.

Awe man, you spoiled my part 2.

So, that was what I ended up doing. The neighbors ended up helping, and we wrestled those little punks to the ground and they're locked in the basement of the Big House.

5th or 6th graders? /s

But seriously those little punks are no joke. A friend of mine bought a house like a 1/4mile away from a middle school.

He ended up having to put up an exterior wrought iron fence and coat it with axle grease to keep the little heathens at bay.

Fortunately, my real life encounters with the youths have been mild in comparison.. The "adults" have been worse, but nothing too awful bad.
