Mr Hernandez look back at your boy's time in office, race relations got worse not better. And again these race riots are going on in cities where if you lived there you would have supported the current mayors.

That's the problem with anecdotes. They never tell the whole story. It's not running away it's common sense to say this person doesnt have the whole picture.

And not sure why you think it's a gotcha that someone in Portland has issue with people on the right. We are seeing left on left issues so just about anyone is going to be right of Portland in general.

I’d modify that to individuals actions. I think it’s easy to look at a groups agenda and tell if they are inciting insurrection. And ANTIFA does. But when an officer is toe to toe with a citizen it’s the actions of that citizen that he/she should respond to not a banner or clothing/patch insignia.

Cops should prevent and investigate criminal activity. They should not be anti-criminal. You know we are all criminals, right? We all break the law. Especially cops.

As I read it your point was that it was interesting to hear a "different" opinion/view. I pointed put that there is nothing suggesting this is actually a new/different stance beyond the literal nature of not having heard from this particular person.

Being anti crime and anti criminal are two different things. Why do you guys want cops to be opposed to people/groups? Their job is to protect and serve people. Being opposed to people/groups does not help them accomplish this task. It seems to hurt their ability to accomplish this task.
