Officially, she left the team of her own accord. IIRC, Geno trashed her during an interview and insinuated that she was asked to leave the program. Reading between the lines, it sounded more like him telling her she wasn't a fit for the program as opposed to her violating a policy...maybe bad practice habits or something. Still, not a good look for him to trash her like that, but I suppose that's to be expected.
AMB - It wasn't during an interview. It was at a private function where somebody asked him about EH and he told them why she was gone. I'm sure he was not aware that some jerk fan was recording it and they later posted it on the BY.
Only five can play at a time so I think we will be able to sufficiently replace what Hayes would do next season. I think we'll see a lot of Massengill at point guard. She is a natural won't see the turnovers out of her even as a freshman that you saw out of Hayes and Westbrooks. She is a very under control player that doesn't try to force anything. I expect we'll really enjoy her point guard play.
Hoping that Jackson has again improved she was certainly a better player as a junior. Where she needs to improve as a junior is court mentality. She made a lot of unforced errors last season need to reel those in.
I like Coach Jumpers suggestion that Westbrooks be used as point forward she is certainly a terrific passer that would be better in that position other than point guard.
Eager to see if KK, Green, and Brown can play better defense as well as create enough offense to replace Russell. I think we'll be better on defense while lacking some offense from this position.
Davis has to be our star and hopefully the other Green can do what Davis did as a freshman if that happens we have a powerful scoring punch from that wing position.
Why not aim for D1
If she is "extremely fast" that makes her a speed guard.
D1 is in need of such players too.
Can she go from baseline to glass in 4.4?
(Time her from BL to BL without the ball and BL to glass on a layup...The time should vary maybe .2-less of a second)
If the time is more than 1/4 of a second difference she isn't ready.
Just because someone says she is D2 doesn't mean she is.
Its up to her. And you.
well?I will test her out and see what she can do it in.
@volbeas How'd it go?
Have you had your work out yet?

Not the one we discussed.... we work out pretty much everyday possible but outdoor courts....I want to test her when we actually get on an indoor regulation surface.Her coach is a great coach but not the greatest about getting access to courts....... I didn’t really go into great detail about my daughter.... I don’t think she plays as fast as she has the ability to play.... she is getting better every day but everything hasn’t come together all the way for her yet.
