To them, all minorities are supposed to run as Dems and vote Dem or they are flawed and must be destroyed. They hate conservatives and will attack them but they really go after and attack any minority who dares to think for themselves.

Really? Do you honestly think Dems would be reacting the same way if Cain was theirs? Do you think there would have EVER been a charge of SH against Clarence Thomas based on the facts presented at his hearing?

Dems most certainly get offended at blacks and women who "betray their cause" by not thinking as liberals expect them to. Few take it to the racist extremes that LG has here though.... at least not publicly.

Did I say "all liberals" or "liberals like LG"? There are liberals who show complete respect to blacks and women who choose conservatism. Juan Williams did so very eloquently recently. But many liberals think like LG and get all bent out of shape when a black person doesn't think, do, or say what his stereotype demands. This isn't an accusation based on one event... one thread... one day... one month. It is a very well established pattern by someone with many posts in this forum.

Obama has been President for 3 years and we still do not know significant and important facts about his background. We most certainly knew that GWB had a DUI 20 years prior to his election though.

It should be intuitively obvious to the most casual of observers that this whole smear campaign is an attempt by establishment elites to impugn Cain's character.

It's funny that it has failed miserably, last night during the CNBC debate the crowd booed down the first question about these charges and they quickly moved on.

I don't know. Do you think anyone guilty of doing something stupid 20 years earlier then repenting of that behavior should be disqualified?

If Cain did it... I wish he would just come clean and ask for forgiveness. It might cost him my vote and that of others but it was 10+ years ago with non known issues since. Would it be enough? I don't know. Conservatives might forgive him but determine that it was too much to ignore.

Based on the Clinton experience where his transgressions were far worse and more recent to his apology... I don't think swing voters would hold it against him.

The tougher proposition for all is if he didn't do it. You can't prove a negative. If something didn't happen... it is very difficult to provide direct evidence that it didn't happen.

Things that have been reported by rightwingers about Obama: his mother is a whore;he smoked pot and snorted cocaine;he wasn't born in the USA;he has colluded with radical muslims;he's Kenyan;he hates Israel;when younger he had a gay relationship;

Those are just a few things, but I have to say, "You've got to be kidding!"

Make no mistake, the right is just as bad as the left on hatchet jobs and misinformation. Claiming anything to the contrary is so funny it's almost pathetic
