And so it begins...

He lost all the appeal of not being a politician when he decided to run for office...and when I found out he was a lobbyist.

there's nothing wrong with being a lobbyist, the problem arises when you have a candidate who says that he will absolutely not have any lobbyists in his administration, then, when his administration is filled with lobbyists, looks you in the eye and says he never said that he wouldn't have former lobbyists.

Why do we know nothing about obamas past? No past girlfriends, his college transcripts, etc...... But yet all those already have or will have everything in their past brought out! (Cain, Perry) Makes one look sideways at the media!

Grades and girlfriends are not on the level of sexual harassment (and now sexual assault) allegations.

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that most if not all of these allegations are going to end up being birther type stuff.

If Cain is guilty of what he is being accused of, justice should be dealt.

ever heard of a statute of limitations? None of the women involved are wanting to pursue criminal charges, so what "justice" should be dealt?

Justice? That's a matter between the women involved and him.

I just think it raises some issues about whether he has some sort of power trip problems, arrogance, etc, that call into question whether he is a viable candidate for POTUS. Same with how he has reacted to the nerve of some to question him on it.

His reaction has been quite disturbing.

I take it you don't do criminal defense.

another thing that's disturbing is your trolling the waters waiting for Cain's support to crater just so you can declare the TP the racists you always suspected them of being.

There are at least a handful of states that do not have any statute of limitations for sexual assault and rape cases. If the Bialek account is true, then that is sexual assault.

then she should press charges and give Cain his day in court

If I were her, once I had the hotel room upgrade verified by the hotel, I would go forward and press charges. At that point, his word (which is already fairly sullied) means absolutely nothing.

didn't this happen 12 years ago? Is a hotel really going to keep records that long?

That was at the NEXT JOB where she also lodged a sexual harassment suit.

The writer seemed to do their best to hide significant details at the end of a wordy story... BUT the joke she used to base her accusation there on was "Men and women are both like computers. If you want something from a man you have to turn him on and anything you say or do will be put in long term memory by a woman."

Cain also was quoted that the most "serious" accusation brought against him by this woman was when he held his hand up to his chin and said that she was about the same height as his wife. Previously, I thought that was an "in"credible claim on his part. After reading the next well documented account of this woman's complaint pattern.... she also has a very serious credibility problem.
Basically in the second case, she got mad because they wouldn't let her work from home and went out looking for a S/H claim.

Once again, since she settled for what amounted to no more than a manager might get after being fired for cause... There's no meat on these bones.

Allegations are not on the level of covering up records that may indicate further links to criminals and domestic terrorists.

Yeah. I can see why him emphatically stating that he did not do it then having the credibility of the two public accusers fall apart right before your very eyes would be pretty disturbing to you.

Herman Cain is your worst nightmare. He blows up your whole view on race and politics. He is a successful black conservative who is absolutely LOVED by the Tea Party. That is more than enough to have you "disturbed" already.

FTR, I am still waiting. There may yet be credible charges made. However at this point... two down.... down very hard.

And yes, this is still direct evidence of the racism we all knew you held.

Would anyone consider it odd that none was required given what he is being accused of? Or is his reaction more important that whether or not this stuff is true.

To the second bold.

That makes him different than Obama? Bush? Clinton? Anyone else that has run for POTUS.

Assuming he is innocent, (which I think is what we do, until give reason to think otherwise) what nerve? Denying that he did it?

also, why did none of this come up when Cain was running for Senate?

In a way, according to Cain, it did. This is because he conferred with his then -aide about it, in case it came up. That aide now works for Perry and according to Cain's campaign was the obvious source of the leak.

Until later, when they saw some political advantage to be gained in blaming it on Democrats, lol.

Contradiction number 34 by Cain about this whole mess.
