Richard Seymour was not suspended for his punch of Roethlisberger because Goodell has deemed that sucker punching someone is "a fight".

The maximum penalty allowed by league policy for fighting is a $25,000 fine so that's all this should draw for both players.

Finnegan does play dirty at times. Not the greatest CB either. He's been repeatedly burned a lot this year. HE will hit you though, low , high, illegally or just rip your helmet off.

CF is a bad guy. I think he actually tried to start a bunch of crap with Kieth Bulluck 2 years ago during a game while they were on the same team.

Looked like self defense to me. Johnson did what any man would do in that situation. It's not like they were trash talking the guy came right at him & left him no choice but to retaliate. Finnegan asked for it & just because he got his ass beat dont mean his fine & suspension should be less than johnsons if anything his punishment should be more severe.

Finnegan is a POS. He gave the cheap shot under the face mask and got owned for it.

I loved how CF, after getting his arse whipped, jumped up and was smiling about it...Keep smiling retard, you got punked on national tv.

FWIW, I was right about the Johnson incident last year. He threw Finnegan down to the ground by his face mask in the first game (not like just a facemask penalty tackle) and that was what led to that fight in the 1st titans-texans game last season. He got an...it was either $7500 or $75,000 fine from the league afterwards (thanks sportscenter for bringning that up). So this isn't the first time between these two.

again, though, I wasn't saying A or B should be viewed better here, but that both should be at fault here

Heat of the moment play, not necessarily a "coward" or "punk" move by either player. They are both very intense players, in very different ways usually.

Finnegan isn't half the loss to the Titans that Johnson is to the Texans. Finnegan was goading him into that and it finally worked. "If" doesn't count. They were both acting like big baby *****es and they both deserve whatever comes to them.

He got his ass beat on the field; he got his ass kicked in the fight. Everyone in the league thinks he's a loser. Glad the POS doesn't play on my team.
