Andre Johnson, Straight Coward Move

Hitting a couple of punchs on somebody when there down on there hands and knees deff does not count as an ass whoopin.

Juss sayin

Exactly what I was going to say. Sure CF is a dirty player and probably deserves what he gets but he hardly got his ass whipped.

What was the score when Finnegan was walking off the field grinning like a shiathead and waving his arms around?

He got his ass beat on the field; he got his ass kicked in the fight. Everyone in the league thinks he's a loser. Glad the POS doesn't play on my team.

The NFL should give Johnson a medal for punching Finnegan.

I don't really care for Finnegan as a player. I think he isn't that good of a cornerback and for that reason, wish the titans would get rid of him. I also think his actions on the field can be a distraction.

However, this particular incident is all on Andre Johnson. They showed them matched up on numerous occasions throughout the game and the were getting pretty physical, but once the whistle blew Finnegan turned and went the other way. On a couple of those it appeared Johnson was mouthing off as he walked away. The play before the fight Johnson got up into Finnegan's face with the hands. On the next play Finnegan simply returned the favor and Johnson decided to be a little ***** about it. All of you that are whining about Finnegan ripping his helmet off must have your blinders on because Johnson deliberately grabbed Finnegan's facemasked and ripped his hemet off first. That is what prompted Finnegan to do the same. I don't care if his apology to his team sounded sincere or not, this particular time the "piece of dirt" is all Johnson.

We obviously saw two different games then because this was started and fueled by CF.

You obviously didn't watch the same one I did, or you are letting your dislike of Finnegan cloud your vision. Like I said before, I don't care for Finnegan so I wouldn't set here and blindly defend him. This was all on Johnson and his actions. It all stemmed from the play before. Johnson went for the head the play before, darn near took Finnegan's helmet offon that play, and for good measure gave a pretty good shove in the back of Finnegan after the play was over and Finnegan was walking away. Finnegan simply returned the favor on the next play and I have no problem with that regardless of who the player is. Johnson was the instigator on this one. The only problem I have with Finnegan on this one was the way he acted afterwards with the dancing around, laughing, pointing, etc. I think that is what got him ejected more than the fight itself because he didn't throw a punch.

If you just watch replays on espn or nfl shows you won't see what led up to it because they want to paint Finnegan as a "badboy". (Not saying he isn't).

They were battling and taking shots at each other all game. As has been stated earlier Johnson was giving CF shots to the head the play before as was CF. Johnson lost his cool and went nuts which is exactly what CF was fishing for.

Personally I think CF is a liability to his team, he has been burned just about all season long and stupid penalties are called on him often. He does play dirty but no dirtier than quite a few other notorious defenders, the difference is those other defenders are all very good players and IMO CF is not. Time to let some of our younger guys tke a crack at it and learn the position and cut CF loose.

I neither like nor dislike Finnegan, I could care less. You are just like every other homer Titan fan that acts like Finnegan is a choir boy and didnt get what was coming to him.

Funny for sure but for those actually ignorant enough to believe what transpired in any way resembled a beat down or butt whooping have probably been exposed to little more than than slap fights and hair pulling.

Titan's fan? Absolutley. If you cared to read my post though I stated that I didn't care for Finnegan and wished the Titans would get rid of him. That being said, anyone that cares to look at this objectively, and watch what transpired would clearly see that Johnson was what caused it. Because one of the names is Finnegan you do as most other people do and assume he started it.

This. Plus, this was the culmination of 4 or 5 games worth of rough play by both players. This "fight" started years ago.

Yes you are correct but if chocolate chip hadn't wussed out, Johnson would have put a beatdown on the punk.:mf_surrender:

Being thrown to the ground by a much taller and heavier opponent and then being punched in the back of the head while you are defenseless is "wussing out"?

If a real fight were to happen between those two and Johnson didn't win he should put a skirt on over his uniform before every game.

Making assumptions based on someone's reputation, I get that.

What assumptions????? Has nothing to do with assumptions, it has to do with what happened on the field. We disagree and I dont see us agreeing anytime soon.

The interesting thing will be to see how Retard Goodell handles this. My expectation is similar fines and suspensions for both. I agree with fines and suspensions for both, but Johnson deserves a much stiffer punishment. Regardless of who you think started it, Johnson was clearly the more offensive one (pun intended).

So let's see. When Finnegan got to his feet he ran his mouth and hummmm ran from the fight :mf_surrender:. It's not like Johnson went away. Exactly which size skirt does Finnegan wear?

By the time he got to his feet refs and players were rushing in to break it up. The point still remains there was a scuffle and one man chose to fight, the other didn't. Why would CF want to fight, he just baited a better player into throwing punches. IMO it's stupid for both of them, if your going to fight meet somewhere where it's not going to be broken up and settle the problem like real men. Both are pansies.
