An anonymous player and i spoke that is a friend of mine. i had avoided talking to any of the players that i knew, but couldnt resist. he said yes dooley will be fired, but he said after kentucky. said he was in fact bought out (which everyone knew) i texted back and said i was just wondering if there was announcement tomorrow and he never answered that question we instead talked about how our familes were doing and our plans for thanksgiving etc etc since he won't get a chance to really be home. so either he is going to dangle for one more week, or people saying tomorrow know something the players don't know.

Weird? We just got run off the field by Vanderbilt. Doesn't get much weirder then that. Nobody will be watching that lame show anyway.

This sucks fat donkey nuts. The only great candidate is Gruden, and the rest are just meh. Some people say yes Gruden, others no Gruden. WTF is it going to be? I'm tired of waiting and suffering. If it's anyone other than Gruden or a surprise homerun hire, then I hope the damn Mayans are right and the world ends on Dec. 21st. I'd rather the earth explode than face another season like this.

Day late and a dollar short. That's Hart for you. The near escape from a loss to Vandy and the debacle at KY was the sound of the Titanic striking the Iceburg. Ship starts taking on water (fanbase outraged and calling for his head...rightfully so, I might add), and most of his staff bails. How in the HELL does that not blast a warning sign that the damn ship is quickly heading to the bottom?! Please explain that to me.

How can a competent Athletic Director force the staff and passengers (program and fanbase as it were) to remain on board for another season while the ship snaps into and races to the bottom?

That MF needs to be gone right along with Dooley. Nuke the whole damn Athletic Department and start anew.

So, all the folks with as much or more e-cred than Larry are just speculating, but you take something he said that hasn't even happened yet, as gospel? Shouldn't you wait and see if his check clears first?

hart had to have help to fire dooley, because the buyout. How did you not know this? an Expert like yourself didn't know that the ad didn't have the money to pay the buyout? I think you should be fired.

Don't you get it? When people say Gruden is coming, they're just speculating and don't really know what they're talking about. But when people say he isn't coming? It's totally legit!

Guys this has been a tough 3 years for us vols fans with Mr Dooley..He has produced nothing but crap on the field.We are rock bottom right now..but with who ever we get for our new HC there is only 1 way to go.and thats up..dont think it can get any worse than this.if dooley is not fired today we should run him out of town our selves.

I've heard speculation that Hart kept Dooley on the past few weeks because Hart feels guilty over whatever role he played in hiring Sunseri. I felt a lot more comfortable when people were posting that the boosters are running the search. Do the insiders think we can trust Hart?

Want to say, not attacking you Larry, but if these names are truly who the AD are going after, I, along with a lot of Vol fans, would be very disappointed.

If he wait until after the Kentucky game, Neyland will be empty on Saturday!
He needs to fire him so that the fans will get somewhat pumped for next Saturday.
