I got the impression the team is done playing for Dooley. Hopefully Hart rips the bandaid off today and the team can breath easier.

Like everyone in the state of TN and country says GRUDEN is #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 on the list someone who says its not gruden please give us real confirmation its not gru if ya can't quit blowing SMOKE everyone is saying he's already agreed in principle. Statements please?????

Dooley is without doubt the worst coach I have ever seen at UT....EVER....I liked him at first but after what he has done to my beloved football program I can say with all honesty I will not miss him one bit...This season showed us all so much about him and i'm glad this nightmare is almost over.

The other two are nothing to crow about either. Strong, Golden, and Fisher are very weak options. Patterson and Peterson are names Id rather be hearing.

It's a combination on all sides. It's not all the HC, DC, OC, or any assistants. The players have a much larger responsibility as well. I know it's hard to keep getting up when losing, but they gave up last night.

Its frustrating how ignorant our fanbase is. Complete inability to think logically when overwhelmed with emotion. All this... 'Gruden is the only coach that is any good' 'Gruden is the only coach that can win at UT'

Acting like there are no other great coaches is real smart. Yeah, cant believe Stanford hired that Shaw dude. I mean what had he done to prove to mindless sheep fans that he could coach? Terrible hire. Chip Kelly had a sparkling head coaching resume when he took over Oregon. Cant believe they hired that nobody. This mentality of any coach except Gruden will end up in doom-and-gloom is a horrible outlook. It does nothing but set yourself up for disaster. There are plenty of coaches out there that are great football coaches that could win at UT. And as crazy as it sounds, the expert football gurus of the message board might not know who they are.

I think it's more of a mentality that whoever we hire next HAS TO succeed and quickly. Obviously there are plenty of candidates who COULD be successful but hiring someone like Golden or Strong or Petrino leaves a much higher chance for failure than Gruden.

There are alot of coaches I would go into 2013 feeling good about leading this team.

Patterson
Petrino
Tuberville
Mora Jr
B. Jones
Fulmer
Cutcliffe
Holgerson

And several others. Gruden would be great. I just doubt UT will spend the money it would take to get him. We have heard about these "sasquatch like boosters" for years. One reason UT is broke is because these same boosters fans claim will save the day, were nowhere to be found for the last 4 years and 10+ million in buyouts. Fans like to tell us how the boosters will handle it. They sure have not handled anything over on the HILL in a while.

SO what happened to the 9am presser? lol. So if no presser at 2pm then what? Presser monday? or tuesday? lol. All of this is a huge joke!
