Annoying people who always want stuff for free

My family is all wound up for that, myself and the boss lady are going up to Albany for the NCAA Hockey regional instead.

Plus watching the UConn women is like watching a gorilla beat up a midget.

That's a good anology

I used to work in the service industry for a few years while finishing college, I am quiet aware of the "struggle". If you are good at what you do as a server and are in a decent area and restaurant, you can average out to make a decent living. I think my "give a damn" went away after I started seeing tip jars at a burger king drive thru window....it was all downhill from there lol.

I don't think a fast food worker needs to be tipped. My kids make $10 an hour working fast food, that's pretty good for a kid who just graduated HS

I could see that, but seemed odd at the time
I was literally there about 3 minutes
Walked in asked for 2.5 lbs the kid sliced one from the counter in half and wrapped and I was done.

Pardon the digression but that made me think of this exchange from The Andy Griffith Show:

Andy: Say, you, uh, ain't had any luck findin' a job, huh?
Gomer: No, but I'm goin' over to the market, now. They're advertisin' for an experienced butcher.
Andy: Do you know anything about cuttin' meat?
Gomer: You think they'll ask me that?

God, I love that show.
