Another bad apple (George Floyd case)

The police are using their typical riot tactics. It's tough to get a situation like that under control. The governor also requested assistance from the MN national guard.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. We already established that the criminals are stupid, so I highly doubt anyone will give any credibility to potential claims of racism. Even if they did, who cares? There is plenty of real racism to be upset about.

Where is all this blatant racism at? Looting and vandalism shouldn’t be tolerated and if you’re saying all these people were put in place to stop it then you’re also saying they just didn’t.

It's easy to armchair quarterback how to pour more gasoline on a fire and then complain about the size of the fire.

Tensions are high, I don't blame the leadership for not wanting to escalate the situation with people who are RIGHTFULLY upset and risk more bodily injury of the PD or the public..

The TV's and liquor are insured, those stores won't suffer too much.

The situation should definitely be escalated and be stopped swiftly and harshly if needed. If they aren’t trying to stop it they’re condoning and it’s proven it doesn’t matter what the circumstances are that trigger these idiots from doing what they do.

The guy who got killed over an alleged bad check? It seems pretty strange NOT to feel bad for him, even if you and Justin wear that as a badge of honor

Same guys are over in the Arbery thread bending over backwards with little more than speculations, supposition and hope to try and get the mcmichaels off the hook.

He probably means that Admiral is a pre Madonna with nothing to loose by saying what he felt because he is a spoiled athlete with no principals.

lol
And he only played basketball due to poor pocket presents.

I don't know if you've ever seen or read about police getting riots under control, but it takes time. They have been making arrests and shooting tear gas, so they've been working on it since the beginning. I'm still super lost regarding the point you're trying to make.

So don’t write bad checks. Don’t resist arrest when you break the law. Don’t rob stores and attack cops. There’s a lot of lessons to be learned. Don’t try and find out who the bad cops are.

You also going to make the “I don’t feel bad because he got what he deserved” argument? By all means, let it all out

Then I guess you weren’t trying to make a point to begin with.

Ruling with an authoritarian iron fist in a situation that simply requires a little time for tempers to defuse would be stupid and short sighted. The last thing that or any community needs is the police to clash with a seriously pissed off public. I hear you though and im not condoning theft. But this is a volatile situation, these people need time to decompress before it REALLY spirals out of control. TV's can be replaced, lives can't.

There ya go just fill in blanks that aren’t there and try to put words in people’s mouth. It’s victimhood 101.

Looks like more than a few hundred thousand dollars in property damage.

The business may be grateful that they can start collecting on business interruption coverage through their insurance, in addition to the replacement of the items stolen.

They need to be thrown in prison along with the cops involved in George Floyd's murder. Just because the cops did a horrible, inexcusable thing doesn't give these people the right to behave in this manner.

That's a white person spraying her with the fire extinguisher. Must have really been upset about the Coleman deal.

No allowing this to happen time and time again is the problem. They do it because they’re allowed to and they know it. If they knew it wouldn’t be tolerated and stopped aggressively they might think twice but who knows. These people probably aren’t concerned with consequences or rule of law.

One former law enforcement official interviewed by KRLD indicated that a video showed the kneeling cop to shift his foot to apply more pressure when the man complained that he could not breathe. He also said that the other cops present were just as guilty for allowing it to happen. Evidently there are multiple videos documenting this murder. Makes you kind of wonder why private citizens didn't challenge the cops but it would take a brave, brave soul to do so.

LOL victimhood. It's about getting you to say what you mean. The "but he's a criminal!!!" garbage is completely, one hundred percent meaningless unless you think it justifies the officer's actions in some small way.

If that is what you think, might as well get it all out in the open instead of hiding behind "well I do think this was bad, but he WAS resisting, but I won't fully take a stand one way or the other"

I always like the resisting arrest approach. It always works out well.

Kinda like those folks who claim they are "sovereign citizens" during a traffic stop. Yeah, smart play there, megabrain.

I love watching those sovereign citizen YouTube vids. They usually end up with three words .. taser taser taser LOL

Do you want to trade your life for his? Challenge 4 cops intent on hurting someone and thats likely the outcome

Said differently, a much simpler version of this is "Officers, don't kill people for nonexistent reasons" instead of victim-blaming
