Another commitment coming!

I'd day say either Litaker or Cam Jones. I've made friends with Cam Jones on twitter. He has actually been answering questions that I've been asking him. He loves UT but is committed to Indiana right now.

Looking for a de-commitment from him though & coming to UT but this might not be yet. Could be him but if not I'd have to go with Litaker or Brendon Harris. Greg Emerson is another possibility as well. Thanks.

Nothing like admitting to a possible recruiting violation on a public message board.

Yes, I know it happens all the time, but that does not excuse it.

I don't think it's a recruiting violation for a normal civilian to talk to a recruit. If he was a coach or staff member possibly, but I don't think there's a rule that keeps a normal person from talking to a recruit. Unless there's something about that guy that I don't know....

Nothing like "killing it" on the 2018 class when it is May of 2017. Come on guys these players will all have plenty of time to change their mind and make all of us mad. Call me after national signing day. Then I will be excited about the 2018 class.

Only if you promise not to post anymore until then :)

What can I say? You've really outdone yourself here, nice work.

Lol, that's not a recruiting violation. If it was, his own parents couldn't ask him where he's going to school.

I have zero inside info but surely it's an offensive guy. I've always believed once you get a stud QB (or two) on board it gives you a lot of momentum on the offensive side of the ball. The fact is right now we have two QBs- one on the west coast and one on the east- to help us with recruiting. Stick around fellas! This could get interesting down the stretch...

Yes, its May 2017, things may change. Expect some change, but the law of %s regarding change will not impact the overall impact.

Take a chill pill, and enjoy the ride. Wait and See. We may close a few doors ourselves to open up positions for better players.

It works both ways and its early. We are 7 1/2 months away from signing day. Things will change, but again enjoy the ride.

Hmm you may be on to something there bc his last tweet said "thanks to all the schools who offered me" and "decision coming soon." Sounds like he's made up his mind. 😊

Personally I'd put him in the wait and see category. I don't see him as a big fish on paper and we seem to be in on a lot of other big name RBs. But the staff seems to have made him a huge priority so they know something I definitely don't. And heck I'm ok with being wrong on kids from TN! Maybe his commitment would give us more momentum instate and in middle TN. 🤔

If we were in May and wasn't getting any good commits the sky would be falling on here with some folks, I have been around forever and I have seen it nearly every year. But when you get a good commit there response will be it's early and we probably won't be able to keep him in the fold. I swear for some people it always doom and gloom till the bitter end, if I had to be as doom and gloom as some are on here I would find something else to follow that made me happier. All one can do is look at trends, and at the moment we are recruiting very well and that my friends is a FACT! GBO!!!!!

You should really go root for Bama.

Our staff has to have a degree of certainty that they are recruiting SEC level talent. That's it! Can we beat the SEC west with the roster we're building? We'll see. Nice insult you tossed out there.

Actually, it is a recruiting violation if he is, at all, trying to influence him to come to Tennessee. As a Tennessee fan, he is classified as a booster by the University and cannot have contact for the purpose of recruiting him.

If he is merely chatting with him and not trying to influence his decision, then he is fine.

That is why my response said possible. It is also why if you check the UT Compliance twitter account, you will see tweets asking fans to not contact recruits. It is difficult for the NCAA to police that type activity and that is Tennessee's method of showing that they take the rule seriously.
