Latest Muslim Terror Attack on Christians

At least 16 Christians were murdered today while attending church services in Kano, Nigeria, the nation’s second-largest city. As many as 22 other worshippers reportedly suffered gunshot wounds.

The massacre took place on the campus of Kano’s Bayero University. Police report that gunmen interrupted the church service and used small explosives to chase worshippers out before shooting those who fled.

This is but the latest violent attack upon Christians in Muslim-majority nations in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Such attacks increased more than 300 percent between 2003 and 2010, according Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a research fellow at the America Enterprise Institute.

In no country do Christians face greater danger than Nigeria, where the radical Islamist sect Boko Haram (which means “Western education is sacrilege”) has publicly declared its intent to kill all Christians in the country.

And that was no idle threat.

In 2011, the terror group killed more than 500 Christians, while burning down or destroying more than 350 Christian churches. And Boko Haram continues its jihad against Nigeria’s Christian community in 2012, killing 54 in January, 38 last month at an Easter church service and, this Sunday morning, 16 murdered in Kano.

What particularly troubles is that the alarming increase in genocidal attacks against Christians witnessed not only in Nigeria, but throughout the Muslim World, has generated little outrage in the United States, Europe and the rest of the non-Muslim World.

To reinforce Rivers's lawsuit, prison authorities argued that the change to all-halal food could potentially "bankrupt the system." Despite all of this, a federal judge has thrown out Rivers's case, refusing to even hear it in court.

If the real objective was to make lasting change in afg I would question our success as well. I believe, as do others, that the real reason for our continued presence there is the fragile situation in pakistan. They hold nuclear weapons and for the taliban or their cohorts to gain power there would likely mean nuclear war with Isreal. The israelis are will ing to make war with Iran, and are pressuring us to do so now, in order to keep nukes out of the hands of like minded moslem extremists.
The Israelis are far more aggressive than we are in recent military engagements. They play for keeps. Iran and pakistan are powder kegs and we need a presence in the region in order to show solidarity with Israel. I hope they can all play nice over there in the sandbox so we can prosper here when we get a decent president.

I havn't seen anyone be arrested or prosecuted for the 500+ killings in 2011 yet.

You pick out one lonely incident and compare it to thousands of incidents of moslem violence annually.

What about the Obama instigated moslem violence in Kenya that saw tens of thousands killed, hundreds of churches destroyed, (some with women and children in them seeking refuge), thousands of homes and business burned to the ground and hundreds of thousands living in refugee camps?

What about the 2 million black African, mostly Christians killed by the government of the Sudan and now the moslem head of the Sudanese government is calling the people of the south insects and promising to renew the conflict.

If we had an administration at the head of the American government that would use diplomatic preassure to stop some of this unbridled agression, then conditions might improve but unfortunately we have an administration that encourages moslem outrage.

Back when southern Nigeria tried to gain it's independence how many Christians were killed or starved to death? Several hundred thousand as a matter of fact.

That sort of makes the crime of the Norwegian pale in comparison, does it not?
