I would say yes she is..... looking at her.... I did not salivate and say.... oh if we get the chance to have her on our team we will be great..... it just has always appeared that she is too much of a project.... she has to get better at so many things.....

speaking of tall, i am anxious to see what Oregon State does with 6'8 and 6'9 coming in next year....

I think that will be seen the following year when they have Destiny Slocum feeding them entry passes. Really good job of Scott Rueck to keep Oregon State as a premiere PAC team.

Exactly a PG that is near unstoppable could bold well for a 6'8/6'9" post! Look at how good Odyseey Simms made Griner look. Slocum will make it easier on her.

That's why I say with the class we just brought in (Hayes, Westbrook, KK, and Davis) and the class we could potentially look to land in 2018 (Collins, Massengill, and possibly DeCosta, Balogun, and Nicolette) you don't need the 6'9" offensively dominant post. You need the 6'9" send every damn thing in the stands and rebounding post.

If we didn't have the pieces we have I would say no but knowing the potential scoring we would already have in place, I don't think it is a bad move.

Ya Destiny is a rock star.... How many players come in as freshmen and light it up as she did at College Park?

Scott R is a great coach.... for what he has been able to do in just a short time at Or St

Diamond Deshields lit it up as a freshman!!! I hope she can rub off on this incoming freshman class and they can collectively light it up as unit rather then just one rock star!! I'm greedy and want like three of the 4 on the all freshman team ... freshman player of the year award...how about an all defensive team honor... uhmmmm a 6th player of the year award... I want it all 😆

Yes you are right..... 18 pts per game as a frosh is good.... though as she has here at UT, assist to turnover ratio was not that good.... i hope better this year.

Amen VegasBill Amen! Maybe someone should say... hey less turnovers equals more shots for you😬😬😬 what player doesn't love to hear shoot the ball more... although diamond is almost to unselfish to a fault. I love she believes in her teammates but I like when she gets into that zone where nobody is stopping her because it raises her team's level!!! Evina is super competitive and so is Anastasia. I think they are going to have some epic battles in practice I wish I could be a fly on that wall! I remember Coach summit saying when she had Chamique and Michelle Marciniak they had bloody noses almost every practice because of how hard they played each time out with a purpose. I remember one of the players saying "of course there were fights. Nobody wanted to back down. You wanted to prove to Pat that you deserved playing time and respect and the only way to get it was by taking it in practice". I also remember her telling Kelly Jolley she was too soft hahahaha in one of the like mic'd up sessions and she came out and scored like 20 the next game haha! Those types of practices are what defines teams !

Good choice, they will be improved in the ACC but still wont surpass ND, Florida State, Louisville, NC State or Duke (???? because their coach is the only one I don't have faith in)

While this doesn't really qualify as a transfer, Raoul hinted at the fact that Texas may be short a former McD AA on their roster this coming season. Further speculation I have seen is that one of the incoming class may not make it to Austin.

Just something to keep an eye on.

Rellah Booth and Chasity Patterson are incoming AAs.

Holmes, Sutton, Higgs and Atkins are the ones on the team I can think of. Maybe McCarthy and Hose as well?
