Thats a good fit for her. With her mom's illness, I'm glad this is working out for her. She'll be pac10 player of the year after sitting out for sure.

In a statement after deciding she made it clear her mom was healthy and distance wasn't the factor for transferring from Maryland.

She said the Marquette coaches told her they are going to play her 2-4 (possibly the 5)... Maybe this will work in the Big East but in a power 5 school I don't know. Not saying it won't work however I see her a POSSIBLE 3 or maybe a stretch 4 who can play 4/5 ... but a two? Time will tell but good luck to her and her new school because she is going to have to work on her handles from the footage I've seen of her to keep the flow of the offense.

Its always a good fit when the player tells the coaching staff what position they will be playing ... that just screams success all over it!

6-5 Jenni Staiti from Maryland is transferring to Georgia. Will have 3 years eligibility after sitting out this coming year.
Kiara Lewis - OSU guard transfer - visited Syracuse (Tennessee was a finalist for her before committing to OSU, NO interest now)

A good get for Georgia. But Syracuse a long way up north and I think he plays a lot of guards or wings? Ten guards listed as coming back. She should fit right in???

6'9"? Can she run at all? Height is very overrated unless you can move and move pretty well. This is the problem with Russell. She actually does not move badly for her height and size--but at the same time she doesn't move well enough to be a real force.

nothing wrong with Russell or Mulkey that a steady diet of mean pills wouldn't help. They need to fight harder for position and don't stand still doing nothing.

I would love for us to make a run at her and get her here in orange! At 6'9" with there being no defensive 3 seconds she would help a lot. she had 62 blocks as a freshman and will only improve. With the guard play and wing play we are expected to have over the next 2 to 3 seasons having a player like her (she should be a double double every game) could really help.

I think she lands at one of the smaller Texas schools though she is really good friends with the youngest Oguwinke sister and I don't believe it is far from where she lives
