That is hilarious. McChrystal was very critical of Obama as well... and Republicans loved him for it.
Also, absolutely nothing that McChrystal said was guided by emotions. It was measured and based on his observations... unless of course, you would like to dispute that ISIS is an ideology or that Trump is a liar?
He added: "If we want to be governed by someone we wouldn't do a business deal with because their - their background is so shady, if we're willing to do that, then that's in conflict with who I think we are. And so I think it's necessary at those times to take a stand."
"Trump is an iconic American businessman", eh? Says what? All of his bankruptcies and the many times he has been sued by collectors, contractors and laborers? Or the vast number of his business ventures which have failed, such as Trump Taj Mahal and Trump Steaks...etc. Or how about running the USFL into the ground with a failed law suit in 1986? Or is it the sham that was Trump University? No bank in the United States would loan him a dime in the late 90's. It was Deutsche Bank and of course, Russian oligarchs. He was a joke. This quote is ridiculous. Who the hell is "we"? Is he trying to speak for all Americans? Trump is an iconic American businessman.
Muh, Russian collusion.
Yet, he's your President, and Hillary is drawing dozens to hear her speak.."Trump is an iconic American businessman", eh? Says what? Face it... you hold that misconception only because of marketing. He was the host of a cheesy reality television series which portrayed him as a success and you bought every word of it. It's a myth. Trump is nothing more than a poor and naive American's ideal of what a rich person is... It's style over substance and perception over reality. What he has, he either inherited or borrowed (without ever paying back). He is an iconic con artist... nothing more, nothing less.

I don't discount that at all... That show is why he was elected President. It convinced the uneducated and naive among us (his base) that he was, in fact, a successful businessman. He capitalized on his popularity with them by playing to their fears and resentments. From there it was about marketing the "Trump brand" which was very effective... but completely detached from reality. He has an impaired business sense. He is not a negotiator. He is not an intellect. He is not articulate. He is a fraud.Don't discount his work here. He took reality TV by storm.
You forgot that he drives you bat sh!t crazy, and makes you look like a whiney 6 year old..I don't discount that at all... That show is why he was elected President. Did you all see where CNN did a segment on how witches are offended and upset about Trumps use of witch hunt.... LOL
I certainly concur with BB. Trump had his typical supporter pegged from the beginning...."I could shoot someone in the middle of Times Square and they would still love me." The truest words he ever spoke.LOL @ the Irony in this post about being emotionally invested in Trump . I’m expecting LG, Velo, Luther , Mic and Tn ribs to concur with you and complete the circle .
