Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

Don't get me wrong, I agree with the sentiment here and no news is good news for lack of a better term.

I just don't think Trump knew, or underestimated, the amount of swamp he had to drain. As I've said all along, he caught the car and doesn't know what to do with it.

What's your opinion on what he will do after he drains the swamp? Eneact his campaign promises or become more moderate? Something else entirely?

You know, we could have had all of that without any of the twitter embarrassment with Bernie Sanders.

Just saying.

Did you bang your head on something over the 3 day weekend???

When has any Socialist ever reduced the size of government or increase liberty?

With a republican house and senate and Bernie sanders in the white house - do you think there is ANY possibility that ANY legislation would be passed?

It would be complete and total gridlock.

You nerds need to start thinking outside of the box.

Go stand in the corner and think about what you just said...

I have.

It's been determined that I was accurate.

If nothing is what you want, as mcdad suggested - electing diametrically opposing forces - where agreement is impossible, nothing is what you'd get.

I don't think the swamp will ever be drained. It's like Trump underestimated several things going in:

The amount of influence and corruption in the Washington establishment. That's a non-partisan statement because all parties are guilty of being influenced by the highest bidder.

The amount of Executive and Legislative level crap that's piled up for the past 200+ years.

Resistance to everything he's doing from said Washington establishment because he promised to rock the boat.

Trust me, I think even Septic would like to see a pure outsider go into Washington with a flame thrower and start burning down the old guard. And Septic might even (begrudgingly) admit Trump's right about a great many things wrong in Washington. Even LG might be forced to admit that if some good came from it.

Sanders would have ruled by EO just like BO.

What about the individual mandate?

I'm still in favor of requiring people to pay for insurance. We can debate it's contents.

But here's the thing. As a society we cannot have it both ways. We cannot have as a rule that people in need of care must be given care, but then not also have them paying for coverage.

The great irony of both the ACA and the Trump plan is that we are supposed to be reducing the cost of insurance and care. That makes no sense at all. Either will be affected by increased costs of care. There's no way to avoid that.

I agree it should be that way...both in theory and in practice. Republi-cants have proven impotent at withstanding the media pressure to fight or stall legislation from Democ-rats.

You give me Bernie witha guarantee nothing happens, im just as happy with that as i am Tramp.

This would be the best possible. Hope it comes true

You're still wrong. I can only think of one brief period where nothing happened because of oppositional dynamics.

Back to the corner until you come to your senses.

Perhaps you could explain the flaw in how the immovable object would best an irresistible force?

Disappointing, I was hoping you would be able think a little more critically.

Your trolling is getting tiring.

As is your myopia.

Get your head out of the sand.

obama and the last four years comes to mind.

Disagree; based on Federal spending.

There really isnt a wide gulf between Rs and Ds. Both increase size of government. Need tyem to be diametrically opposed in philosophy for what youre suggesting to work.

So? Not all EOs are created equal either.

So?

So.

So, you just claimed I was trolling by pointing out trump ruled by eo. Sorry to troll you with reality...

Now your argument is that they aren't equal?

Put your head back in the sand hogg.

The answer is purple squirrel. You want some critical thinking? Here's something for you to chew on...

Bernie was the same as Trump, but had a different letter behind his name and wasn't on Twitter as much. You really think Bernie ever thought he could get free college pushed through Congress? Or massively taxing the rich? Or any number of his campaign "promises" he kept blathering on about?

No, he said what the people wanted to hear to get votes. And it worked for a while until the DNC shut him down. At the brass tacks level of a complete ****-list of candidates, Bernie and Trump were both guilty of saying the most outlandish things they could to get/keep attention and attract more votes.

Two peas in a pod.
