What in the hell? I don't care if it's fabric, a piece of paper, or a piece of plastic, the American flag is the American flag regardless.

Also, quit trying to downplay this kind of abhorrent behavior, especially in the context of the holiday we just had commemorating fallen troops.

Understood, but the Pledge of Allegiance says "... to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands " Our national anthem contains these words:

O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?

They both clearly state that the flag itself is symbolic of the nation and all that it stands for including our constitutional rights. It doesn't matter if the flag is a small one placed on a grave, one draped over a veteran's coffin, or one flown over the capitol or white house; it's what each of those flags represents. Disrespect of the flag is disrespect of the nation and all that it stands for.

This. I have posted previously about it, but i attended 3 funerals with full military honors and 21 gun salutes in the last 18 months. My little brother, my dad, and my pappaw. 57 years served between them, and my brother only had 5 of those. To disrespect the same flag that has thrice been folded and presented to my mama and granny is to piss on the graves of the men i love most.

In this country you may have a right to do that, but i will stomp on your head until i get bored with it, or the cops drag me off of you. Love it or get the Hell out. I dont care if there wasnt a single poster here that feels the way I do...i held my mother up as they presented her that triangle and the guns report split the air. You havent walked in my shoes, and are in no place to judge me.

Post or article I don’t think that really matters in the scheme of things.

He, she, or it pissed on the ground in a cemetery so we can assume that piss had a high probability of touching a grave.

So you said that he did it because someone who he knew died in a war. How is this accurate to the article?

I've been training. I've spray painted skateboard pads... arms and legs.... a cool navy blue color... my neoprene life jacket is navy as well, but I made a stencil and painted a big white star on the chest..... bike helmet is also navy.... and my whoopin' stick is too. I decided to go with a 4ft piece of ash .... turned to 2.25" diameter....shorter for close combat.... ash is hard but relatively light..... I'm ready to crack skulls....I also glued two plastic sledding discs together after I stuffed as much cardboard and **** as I could to help reinforce them and give them some weight....I'll hit them with it too. I think these weapons will draw blood from a blunt compression injury.... like a gash over a fighter's eye in a boxing match.... lots of blood will flow out and be a tremendous psychological advantage to me and my sane brothers

Is the article accurate? By the way, there is a picture in the article. The flags were on concrete outside of a building.

You could be right about your statement in the last paragraph. Sadly in the absence of an unbiased media that is not trusted anymore people revert to online sources for information. You have to be careful with these unfamiliar websites. I'm not sure that's the case above though since I didn't follow the link since this is an old story by the OP that I missed. I had grown weary of political news for several months.

So why did that guy get body slammed? Cop was clearly parked illegally. Guy didnt make any contact or pull a weapon.

I get stupid games and stupid prizes, but in this case the cops clearly arent playing by the rules.

I think it's a woman......but, you don't come stomping with your chest out and yelling and waiving your arms around like an idiot when approaching a cop like that, pretty dumb thing to do. I have no problem with this as this person, guaranteed, acts this way most of the time. If he/she rolls up to me like this there is a chance that the exact same thing is going to happen. I'm not going to wait for that person to enter my space, I'm going to diffuse the situation as quickly as possible.

I would normally agree, but I think when someone walks that aggressively towards you and combined with the tone of voice it is a good chance they are going to attack you.
