I've noticed how well Butch has done in getting former players to come back and represent UT. Any chance he finds a way to bring Phil back in some capacity? I'd love to see him honored at a game sometime

Coach Majors as well

He always represents Tennessee. Not gonna be on the coaching staff if that's what you mean. Of course that has nothing with him being honored at halftime.

Didn't we already honor Majors at a game last year? Seems like I remember him on field during a timeout or halftime with a big presentation?

I will go see an ETSU football game once it gets back up and running. I was there when it was dropped and always thought it was the crazy thing. Drop Football?

hell, drop all other sports besides basketball and football, and call it a day.

But that indoor stadium was a bad idea, that thing was falling apart in no time

If Butch brings anybody back...and I never thought I would say this...Dan Brooks would be my first choice. Chavis would be a close second.

I have much more confidence in the offensive staff than I do with the defensive coaches.

I don't see CBJ replacing anyone anytime soon, speaking next 2-4 yrs, unless they leave on him for another staff. It would never be Fulmer, and Chavis is happy where he is. Besides, we have tried to get Chavis back in the past with no success.

While I agree with you, I do believ that IF anyone could do it, butch would be the man. He is a genuine people person and apparently can get people to rally around him.....butch gets it?
