LBs and DEs are not equal? I dont' believe that.
Anyways, all those numbers are great but I never said there weren't color descrepencies at certain positions. There is no evidence why those numbers are the way they are. I maintain coincidental tendencies.
The best explination is that white and black kids tend to aspire to different possisions when they are young. That probably corrilates with those kids following thier childhood idols that played that same position. But now NFL qb stats are skewed because so many college QBs go into the league and play different possitions based on thier skill set. There are a tremendous amount of black qbs being recruited to college now-a-days. Give it time, the ethnic gaps at positions are being shortened (except any kicking position).
I'm just curious, are we hyping boyd over nunes because the scouting reports/ rivals, et. al, have said he's better, or are we doing the "he chose our school" makes him a better player thing?

They're not. You can dispute it all you want but those are the numbers on LBs and ends. LBs its about 80% black players though - so its not as extreme as the other ones.. DE is a little closer to 83% or so I believe.
The bolded statement is way off. It has nothing to do with what position they aspire to play. If I were a kid I would aspire to play any position that could get me a scholarship in college or to the NFL. There's not a lot of white DBs for a reason in the NFL - and it has nothing to do with what position they wanted to play as a kid. Matt Jones didn't seem to mind making a nice paycheck to switch from QB to WR even though QB was his life long position.
If you had paid attention I'm pretty sure I said the same thing as you did in the bolds. You disagree with with me and thats fine, but you offer no alternate explination, so i'll just go with mine.
Which post are you referring to? I must have skipped over it.
And I offered plenty of explanation imo. It doesn't seems as simple as it is - but what can you say? Black people are just generally better athletes and that's why they dominate basketball and football. You don't have to be that great of an athlete to play center and QB - it does help though..
The slower positions in general have a greater number of white people (offensive line is generally made up of about 40-50% white people)... and the more athletic and fast you have to be the less there are at that position in the pros - see RBs and DBs.
