Any update on Pili?

I saw him on the sideline on crutches (with a knee brace on), bummer!

I also saw him walk to the locker room with no help, so he could possibly play through it as long as they can keep the inflammation down. If that is the case, I think it will be up to him if he wants to fight through it or if he elects to have surgery and try to get ready for the draft.

I think we’ll need to wait for a MRI before we know anything.

The gatas ran the same play and gashed us up the middle all night until we finally in the second half limited it. We need Pili’s experience. The guys behind him are playing well, just haven’t seen what Pili has.
They only had 138 yards rushing total. That isn't exactly dominant.

Pili is out of eligibility unlike Bru was, so that’s the difference. If he’s out for the year then his career is for all intents and purposes over.
- Last year some fans on this board were saying Bru would never play again and they were wrongfully diagnosing Bru’s injury as he lay on the turf. JUST WRONG

- A VN poster says Pili’s injury against Florida was career ending. WE DONT KNOW. He may return this year. He may work towards NFL Draft. WE DONT KNOW

I’ll stand by my position it is bad JuJu to speak ill over the health of another without a diagnosis.

Who made that rule?
Call me old fashioned but I was taught to not speak ill of or gossip about others.

If you’re a person of faith, there’s plenty of scripture in the Bible on the subject

Just not good practice. And, what purpose does speaking about another’s condition without knowledge serve?

How wrong of you to speculate that he may return or he may work towards the draft. Do better.

Huge difference in hoping and praying for the best and recovery then speaking ill and gossiping over someone without knowledge.
Any forum I’ve ever been a part of is about 98% BS, speculation, and opinion and 2% fact from legit sources. Those are prob generous numbers. I wouldn’t spend much time here if you’re looking to cure cancer or gain tons of factual knowledge. Sit back and enjoy the BS.

Alright, you’re old fashioned. Welcome to the internet. Speculating on an injury is in absolutely no way speaking ill of or gossiping about Pili.

This. Nobody wants him to be out for the season. If we only stated facts on this site it wouldn’t be here. We would just read the info UT puts out. The whole thing is set up to talk UT sports and give opinions.

Are you really gonna try to claim that “gossip” doesn’t come with negativity?
Look, it’s simply wrong while someone is writhing in pain on the field to speculate about their career (suggest they’ll never play again). To post “he’ll never play again” and speculate on injury without knowledge is… by definition… gossip.

I’m not changing your mind. You’re going to think it’s fine. That’s OK. There are no Gossip Police to hand out fines.

You do you. I’ll be me.
